anyone else????????????


This could be a fun year


I have been as negative as many of you the last few years, but something about D'Antoni and this team just has me feeling like something good is forming here.................

Forming in the future, yeah. Right now the team still wont be any good and too many guys who are un-likable IMO. I just can't bring myself to root for anyone other than Duhon, Gallinari, Lee, Nate, and Chandler.

i think so much still hinges on marbury and how he behaves and how his situation is resolved that i don't have faith that it can work yet.

he is still our best player, he was the best player on the floor in philly after brand's first quarter, and either he needs to start here or get shipped and its gonna get ugly otherwise.

Elite, I'm with you. I still don't think the team is going to be any good this year, maybe they'll win 40 games and exceed all expectations, but I do think the future is looking pretty bright.

I'm with ya on that one. Big supporter of the D'Antoni system the moment his name came up as possible coach.

I think we inherited his attitude and I think he has changed now. I think his attitude will be excepted by his teammates, finally to the point that the only thing that matters now is playing as a team, seeing that you can play as a team and put all else aside. I do believe that all' of these guys will recognize that and realize that they can win together.

I'm now willing to give Marbury that chance throughout the season. I have no more complaints about Marbury. No matter what he does.
I'll never trust this' team again.

I am not sure. I think things were so unstructured and so dysfunctional that to have these guys play in a system is going to change things. I still am very disappointed with the lack of moves. I also am extremely disappointed with the draft. I think Gallo is probably a bust and at best far from the sixth best player in the draft. I also am tired of the Knicks front office getting punked by the Nets. The Nets got 3 players in the draft who I think will have better, longer careers than Gallo. I think D'Antoni is doing his part. The Knicks maybe relevant again but Walsh has been a big disappointment.

I'm totally looking forward to a fantastic year this next coming season and expect tons of improvement from this particular Knick team! That's all I can say at this time about optimism.

And if it happens, then it will prove a lot of things and the down and out Knick fan will once again come out of that hole in the ground and start peeking around again. Bandwagoners are very welcome!!!

Nothing to be excited about. Same grooup of characters that have been know to blowup. Until they prove other wise I think we should all wait and see what goes down.

Fair enough. I understand the feeling. But just one thing. If they are changed, then they will need our support again and everyone will know this if/when it happens.

I don't know if the fun will translate into wins, but I def think that D'Antoni's system is tailor made for a team full of gunners.
