I hope he starts and gets significant PT as well. Didn't watch any of the games last year (thank God), but listened to some on internet radio and he seemed like one of the few that actually tried. I'm not expecting much from this team so some decent player development would be awesome. Should be a more than decent guard available when the team inevitably gets the eighth overall selection.

Posted by TMS:Posted by nixluva: I love nixluva's enthusiasm. It's great to know that there are still people out there get so pumped up about the Knicks. Hell I'm just as pumped up as nixluva, I'm ****ing stoked for this year, even though I know it's a down year. I agree though, it's hard to take anything nixluva says because he says the same thing every year the past few years. Don't take it as a diss nixluva, you're just a blind supporter and you always have high expectations, that's cool, it's awesome... believe me that's fine, thats what being a fan is all about, but it's just tough to take sometimes is all I'm saying, because as much as I'm stoked for this year, this isn't a good team and I know 75% of these guys won't be here 2-3 years from now. Dude, I def don't think this is a down year. I am more than amped for this year. It feels so good to be a Knicks fan right now. We're gonna be the most exciting team in the universe. This is so cool. I might change my prediction from 45 to 50 games. I told my friends tonight that the Knicks will win 50.

Posted by EnySpree: Yeah, Chander dunks beat Oneal to the rim, but Walker went over Ratliff. I'm just glad I got to see Chandler go to the basket and dunk on somebody, because he seems to not to be able to do it often. Posted by nixluva: I actually am more optimistic about this season than last, as in I actually plan on spending money at the bar or on a ticket or two, and I am not in the tri-state area. So, last season, I knew things were going to be terrible and it's hard to justify buying overpriced food and beer to watch Isiah Thomas's Knicks, which were so obviously terrible. I'd rather blow my money on the Giants, Yankees, or Rangers... or chasing girls. I think things are improved, but my optimism is for the future, not this season. I mean, this is the same team as that one. It's beginning to seem like Walsh botched the Gallo pick by drafting damaged goods. Maybe (hopefully) I'm wrong, but regardless, it seems like Gallo will not contribute this year, or just marginally contribute. Essentially, it's the same team plus Chris Duhon. I like D'Antoni, think he's a fantastic coach. Walsh seems decent. Both are upgrades from Thomas his three-ring circus of coaches. But I don't think D'Antoni is so good that the Knicks are going to completely reverse their fortunes. Nor do I think that each Isiah Thomas era coach was the worst coach in the history of the game and a pretty good coach could coax 40-50 wins from this team. Anyway, I just hope this team proves it's a good one, proving me wrong, exceeding my expectations, or however you want to put it. Any way, this team doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. And I don't see why I should approach the Knicks differently. You learn not to touch fire by getting burned, badly. To keep touching the flames and to keep getting burned is lunacy. Chandler can really, really play. If we do start to turn it around he'll be a big reason why.

Posted by VDesai: He still strikes me as a complementary guy....like a 3rd option for all the people that like to use that term. Wilson just takes what the defense gives him. Thats good but Knicks could seriously use a guy that can actually stick out.......geez louis i wish this team had JR Smith. I dunno, he has enough handle to create and has a decent looking shot. I think his offense could really develop in the same way that it did for a player like Richard Jefferson. As it is, he has the ability to fill up the stat sheets and be a mini-Marion for us. Gotta love his rate of activity out there.

Posted by VDesai: Richardson has that swagger/cocky thing about him. He's also a step or so quicker and more loosey goosey. Marion is a freak of nature. Dude doesn't move around like a regular person. Hence his nickname...... Wilson is good and I love his game but I can't see him in the Class of Mariona nd Richardson....he's a step below them. Take a look at this Danny Granger footage.....Its boring as hell but you would think you were looking at Wilson Chandler....the dudes are exactly the same player like they are twins or something. I wouldn't mind Wilson putting up Grangers numbers btw....about 14/5 in his 2nd year and about 20 and 6 in his 3rd. Thats damn good but I don't know if Wilson has that swagger, or gleem in his eye to be a borderline all-star. Granger has it. Subscribe to my Podcast https://youtube.com/c/DiehardknicksPodcast

I think Chandler has that T-mac type of calm swagger. He doesn't show off,he just does what his team needs him to do,whether it be a supporter or future star.
It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.
