Anybody else going to watch the debate tonight? It's going to be in a "Town Hall" format. These can be tricky. You never know what kind of questions might be asked.

In a related subject... Any one else disturbed by the level or hatred McCain and Palin are stirring up in their audiences?

Unleashed, Palin Makes a Pit Bull Look Tame
...Palin, speaking to a sea of "Palin Power" and "Sarahcuda" T-shirts, tried to link Obama to the 1960s Weather Underground. "One of his earliest supporters is a man named Bill Ayers," she said. ("Boooo!" said the crowd.) "And, according to the New York Times, he was a domestic terrorist and part of a group that, quote, 'launched a campaign of bombings that would target the Pentagon and our U.S. Capitol,' " she continued. ("Boooo!" the crowd repeated.)

"Kill him!" proposed one man in the audience.

Palin's routine attacks on the media have begun to spill into ugliness. In Clearwater, arriving reporters were greeted with shouts and taunts by the crowd of about 3,000. Palin then went on to blame Katie Couric's questions for her "less-than-successful interview with kinda mainstream media." At that, Palin supporters turned on reporters in the press area, waving thunder sticks and shouting abuse. Others hurled obscenities at a camera crew. One Palin supporter shouted a racial epithet at an African American sound man for a network and told him, "Sit down, boy."

This is getting ugly.

Problem is, no one could find that island. Oh well!

This is a popular sticker in Seminole county these days. These have been popping up on cars everywhere in surprising areas. There is another one asking for the old John McCain from 2000. I find it interesting. I don't think Florida will be that close as some people think.

We haven't progressed much from the days of the roman orgies and slaves being mauled to death by wild animals in the colliseum with bloodthirsty crowds going wild. I think there is some primal instinct in us that lends itself to sheer joy at the humiliation and belittling of others. People enjoy this stuff, with a kind of wild eyed frenzy...its sickening.

Be afraid, be very afraid...

Boxing at least has some rules, politics is more like WWF, where the dirtier you get the more people cheer for you. Go scumbags and low-lifes.

My sling is down. Im naked for the new season. Its killing me.

BTW, remember the convos we had a year ago about how good the singbox is? That was before i fully appreciated it. The thing is magical. If i could, I would ask it to have my babies. If I met the iniventor of the slingbox, I would wait on him hand and foot and offer myself to his every gratification. Unless he's Richard Jefferson. Or Sarah Palin. I tell a lie, I would do Sarah Palin too. But I would gag her first. Fluff baby fluff!

Anyone else notice that McCain has kinda become a side-show for Palin?

I must say I love the irony of McCain calling anyone a "cronie".
