MDA and Walsh are going to camp with the same team. They will start Curry at 5 and Zach at the 4. Marbury will dominate Duhon so you will have to start him. Gallinari will be hurt most of camp. The Knicks start about 5-20 then start playing the bench and we will be one of the worst teams in basketball. What has the new regime done to make you feel things will change?

What exactly are you angry about? We are supposed to be rebuilding. We need to get another top 5 pick because our 2010 pick goes bye bye courtesy of Zeke and Mebury.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

No surprise there. The only difference is I thought for opening night Mardy and Malik would be gone and Chandler would be starting at the 3.

One difference that I can see is Jeffries getting more playing along with Chandler. I really don't expect to see much from Gallinari until after the all-star break.

The lineup that I think people might see is

Duhon/Marbury
Crawford/Nate
Q/Chandler/Jeffries
Zach/Lee/ Gallo (Gallo if there is a blowout or if Q and Jeffries can't deliver this season or a Zach trade)
Curry/Jeffries/Lee

Great! Lets start 5-20 and get a top three pick! Then nexy year we try to move these bums with a years salary off the books, making them a little more attractive to other teams. Whats the problem here?

I don't think NY fans truly beleive that their team situation is as bad as it is. This will be a long road back and we will have to be patient. Now regardless of who is camp, someone is going to be cut. Hopefully it will be a couple of the dregs.

I agree but it would be nice if we could say Walsh did even ONE thing this off-season that helped our rebuilding.

I agree, it would be nice.......For us it would be symbolic and represent a move in the right direction, but doesn't mean he needs to make a move for moves sake. I personally am not concerned about whether moves will be made, because they will. It may not be on our time frame, but I don't think these guys came here to lose with what we have been losing with. Unfortunately we are in a position where we are rebuilding, have already given up a future pick, and are over the cap. We really weren't left with a lot of flexibility. Isiah was presented with a similar situation and blew it on "stars". The jury is out on Walsh because he literally just started and his coach has not had a minute to work with these players. It will be painstaking. But that's the situation we are in.

So Gallinari is damaged goods and we have to watch the same sht as last year. Im sorry but this doesnt cut it. We shouldve brought in a hungry young GM like Seattle or Portland has done. Walsh has sat on his arse and let others make decisions. Why did we hire a man whoose time has come and gone? He's a has been

the team hasn't cracked 39 wins since 00/01. another 30 win season would make it 8 straight sub 40 win seasons. that has to make them the worst franchises in the nba. it's all in for the 2010 summer. until then, there really is no point watching...

yeah, I'm not sure NYer's truly understand how bad we are as an organization. Every other team knows we are desperate and there will be no easy deals. That's a fact of life created by Laymos. There is at least 1-2 more years of watching squat.

But we didn't Briggs. We are in the here and now, whining about what we should have done doesn't fit anything. Listen Walsh, D'Antoni and Gallinari have a lot to prove, but let's get real. Their careers as Knicks has just started and we are condemning them. Let's at least let them get their NY history under their belts before we fall into hysterics. The concern over Gallinari's back is legit. The concern over Walsh's slow movement is legit. But the screaming of busts and has beens 3-4 months in just goes to prove that Bip was wrong. Maybe you can't rebuild in NY.

I think Jerome James and Eddy Curry become spokesmen for NutriSystem before this happens.

I usually stop watching around February anyway, maybe now I can save myself from 5 months of heartbreak. I mean seriously, at this point does anybody expect anything at all coming from this franchise? We are years away from being a watchable team.
