Josh for Curry works perfectly straight up.

Jason Kidd is getting old and Dirk needs a big man to attract attention away from him.....Dallas can get by with whoever @ the 3 spot. Dirk @ 4, Curry @ 5. Kidd and Terry in the backcourt. Stack, dampier and diop getting in where they fit in.

Knicks on the other hand can run with Wilson, Josh, and Zach at the 4,3,5 spots.....duhon at point with Craw @ the 2. David lee gets in where he fits in along with Jared/JR. Nate and roberson with possibly Houston. Very fast line-up right there for the Knicks.

With all the controversy Josh Howard has linked to him now, it would be a disaster to bring him in. The media kills us that we have Marbury and Randolph. So we bring in somebody that might be hated more than both of them? That would only create a huge distraction. No Isiah, No Anucha and maybe in a couple of weeks no Marbury equals no distractions. Josh is a great talent but we dont need his baggage right now.

Agreed. I think we need to not bring in any more headcases right now. We have enough.

Eny, in another environment not a bad deal. Under the current circumstances we can't. I think for a little while we need to move away from controversy.

What about a deal like Dampier and Howard for Randolph? I think Damp is a FA in a 2 years and Howard can play the 2 or 3. Put Chandler at the 3-4. Randolph at the 5. andolph

sprewell tried to kill his coach, came here and was a fan favorite.

Good trade- helps us, helps them.

Dallas has been hurt by not having an inside game.

Curry & Dirk- perfect together.

Dirk boards & can make the entry pass in to Curry.

Curry's problem passing the ball would be helped by being around others who can pass the ball.

The old sprewell argument.....very valid....winning cures everything.

The Sprewell arguement is valid and invalid. First off, Sprewell is and was a jackass, but when he was on the court, he left absolutely everything on the floor, not like Randolph and Curry and Jamal and so and so. That is why he endeared himself to fans very quickly. Secondly, the Knicks were already a winning team, so it was easy for us to put his past aside.

We've been a losing team for quite sometime though. Different story. Can Josh alone, take the team to a new level. I think he's an all star, but I don't think he's that good.

Y'all know the first 30 point game he'd have, the whole building would be on its feet for him and all would be forgiven. LOL.

Wait a minute you dont want Howard because he said he smoked weed on his birthday and as a black man he doesnt care for a flag that has brutalized his people? Yo turn off the 'Leave it to Beaver' faux outrage, cause thats straight retarded.

Id put Curry on my skinny ass back and carry him to Dallas for that deal.

The sprewell is a douche but he left it out on the floor so that's different arguement.....very cool.

Howard an all-star, yet not that good. I would agree. I mentioned here before that John Salmons is probably better. Same build and such but salmons is just as good a scorer but way better ball handler and passer(played some point for sactown at times).

Imho.......the Knicks need another swing man. Wilson is more along the lines of a power small fwd, like a james worthy, a domonique wilkins, a xavier mcdaniel, etc. Knicks need a slick, slasher, ball handler, example John Salmon. Bring what a Jerry Stackhouse does off the bench and spot starting.

I think John Salmons can be available with Kevin Martin and Garcia still there. Salmons is cheap as hell.

Any ideas.

Yeah the leave it to beaver quote was a nice touch or the "get over yourself" argument.

I mean, geography does play a role in this --- I wouldnt bring him into to Oklahoma City, and in good ol' TEXAS, his flag comment is going to be an issue. But this is NY and Howard certainly hasnt done anything that would deem him a major risk in my eyes.

The lineup you layed out would be murder and exactly the type of team that would flourish in a D'Antoni system. Makes too much sense. Its all to clear that Howard has completely worn out his welcome in Dallas. Buy low. Dallas is on the decline and they know it. They're willing to shake it up and play dice.

We kind of heavy at the 3-4 position now. Gallo and chandler have upside and fit our projection.

I am not worried about unloading either eddy or Zach. We still own our pick next year, so winning is not that important. Creating a culture is.

Teams know they can try to steal Zach from us and getting a no. 1 pick is not gonna happen.

For the record, Howards just being a clown. His flag quote was in jest to a cell phone camera.

What players think or believe in is their business, but if your a paid entertainer and rely on the public for your money then you have to watch your back on what you say.

The only thing bad he did was have a party during the playoffs when his coached asked him not to.

Trading lazy boom for retarded idiot... Looks fair for both sides.
But Howard needs to do a major appoligy and ask for second chance first. Then we can play good guys to provide it for him in NY.

John Salmons does not increase our glut at the 3. He can play 2 guard easily because he's a 3 position player. He plays excellent defense and his offense is better than adequate. I would pick up Salmons and lose Crawford. It would be addition by subtraction and addition by addition.

We can save "Heavy E" for a different deal.
