"The Big Cock" as his friends like to call him, just gave a courtside INT. He was asked about his back & said "it's much better & shouldnt stop him from the begining of camp". He also said he just bought a house in Westchester & was excited to see the Liberty in a playoffs & cant wait to experience it himself w/the Knicks.

I thought "posts" refered to the number of times I called for the ball on the blocks & then took suckas to school w/my assortment of "up & under" & ballet like drop steps

Sore back sidelines Knicks rookie Gallinari
BY MARCUS HENRY | marcus.henry@newsday.com

Don't expect to see Knicks rookie Danilo Gallinari playing any time soon.

Gallinari, the sixth overall pick in the 2008 draft, might not be ready for the start of training camp Sept. 30. He hurt his back July 15 in the first game of the NBA Summer League.

"We'll see," he said at Thursday night's Liberty playoff game when asked if he will be ready to go. "I was optimistic about that, but I don't know now."

Gallinari, who said he arrived in New York last week, hasn't played since leaving the Italian national team in late August and isn't sure when he'll begin practicing with the Knicks. "I've been taking treatment and resting," he said.

Gallinari dismissed the notion that the Knicks were upset he didn't come back sooner for treatment. "No," the 20-year-old said. "Everybody was OK."

He said a recent MRI showed no damage. "My back is a little sore," he said. "I just need to take my time. I want to get out there as soon as possible."

i think action may have to change his screenname to wendy williams...

lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

My sources say, that he gets more than his fair share of "poo-poo la-la" (or Punanny whichever term works culturally for you) & I know that tends to stress my back muscles.

P.S. - Marcus Henry is full of ish...I DVR'ed the Lib game & if I have time I'll watch & provide a real "transcript"

He did not say that. I watched it.

Awesome.

I'm a liberty fan too. I'm annoyed about their management and coaching, but they are currently kicking ass and play in the Garden. They need some respect.

The WNBA playoff system is ridiculous. How do you advance to the conference finals after only after 2 wins? I never liked that. I used to be a Liberty fan but they have been a huge disappointment. Kym Hampton is still my favorite.

She was cute. So was Becky and Rebecca had her moments. We all knew about Theresa but she wasn't bad on the eyes. They use to have decent to pretty good looking players. Now they are butt ugly except that . I kid. I kid. No not really. Damn get some eye candy in there! Leilani Mitchell is the only one easy on the eyes.

Leilani Mitchell? She's kinda wack. Very plain jane looking.
I aint gonna front though. I love me some female athletes, especially basketball players. I've dated a few they are always the best to chill with.
