65% Chance:

Curry-Zach-Q-Craw-Marbs

35% Chance:

Curry-Lee-Q-Craw-Duhon

Of course, maybe Zach does get traded, maybe Marbury is bought out, maybe both, maybe one or the other, but hell we can go about those all day.

Bottom line is either Walsh stands pat or he makes wholesale changes. I think you need to dump both Marbury and Zach to move forward and develop Lee, Chandler, Nate, Gallo - and allow Crawford and Curry to up their value and even games. Yet, it's never that simple is it. Well, waiving Marbury and Malik and buying out James is - I guess Zach has become the complicated matter.

i predict pretty much the exact same rotation as last year except replace Marbs w/Duhon is what we're gonna see, at least to start the season.

Why can't you guys see that QBrick is no longer an NBA caliber player? I mean, not even close. Start Chandler.

There are some of us who realize that he's not a starter anymore. I'd rather move on to Chandler and let him get loose. We already know what Q is and it hasn't been that good. Chandler is younger, taller, Longer, faster, more athletic, more dynamic defensively... he's just better. All he needs is PT.

I agree, but the thread was about predictions not "who would you start".

No. Marbury has a keen sense of being able to see the spit on people's mouth's and I think that's really important to this team.

Marbury's good at that tried & tested method of believing it to achieve it.

WHOA! I think the idea that Steph can grasp and run this offense and it's nuances has been proven to be untrue. I've been his BIGGEST supporter over the years and i've come to the conclusion that this guy just doesn't want to play that kind of BB and I think it's because it's hard work for him to try to read the defense and think several plays ahead. He's better at being the guy that goes for his own and then finding someone if he can't finish his own drive. He's actually not bad at doing that and that is the bulk of his 8 asts avg for most of his career.

Steph can run but he doesn't like to keep his dribble and weave his way thru a defense just to set up a great play. He's better putting his head down and driving past his guy and then making the simple short pass to a teammate like Curry or Lee when their man leaves them. That's not the same PG game as in Mike's system.

I believe that Duhon will be better than people think in this system. He has the kind of BB IQ, solid handle and smart passing ability that fits with Mikes system. Make no mistake D'Antoni and Walsh targeted him for a reason. Mike knows what he needs in a PG and tho Duhon isn't the perfect version of that PG as Nash was, he's likely to be better in it than Steph.

Sure Steph can score more for himself and create more offense, but I doubt that he'd run the plays as accurately. Duhon consistently ran the Bulls offense well when he was out there. He doesn't turn it over and get's solid assists for the time he's out there. I think Mike can help him to maximize his abilities and that could put him on a higher level than he's been his whole career.
