First of all, even from a strict talent perspective he's not going to be there.
Secondly, HE'S ON THE SAME TEAM AS KOBE! No way is he going to be able to prove he's MVP.

Just check his last 15-20 games before he was injured and consider he is 110% healthy. I expect to see a player who is unstoppable on offense who will lead the league in FG% will put up something like 21-12.5-3-3 and be viewed as the most valuable player to a team.

I'm not gonna agree that he'll be the MVP, but Briggs is right that he was playing like a semi monster before he got injured. I doubt the Lakers would have even needed to trade for Gasol if he stayed healthy.

Right before he got hurt he was going to another level--in fact he had 25 points 17 rebounds 3 blocks 3 assists the day befoire he got hurt and was on pace for a 20-20 game the day he got hurt. In his last 5 games where he got to play atleast 30 minutes

25-17-3--3
23-12-2--4
28-12 4--2
13- 8-2--1
24-11 1-3
---------
22.6 points
12 rebounds
2.5 blocks
2.7 assits
FG% a staggering 78%
That is an MVP type pace and he was realizing he could do this at will and he unfortunately got hurt. As long as the injury does not effect him and he stays injury free and plays 35 minutes--no one in the nBA can stop hjim from doing what he wants to do--hes to fast to big to skilled and too athletic at 7-1 285. Unless you actually watched a hugh portion of Laker games--you could easily dismiss this. IMHO he was the becoming the BEST player in the league right before he got hurt
