Why?

This would help Washington more now that has a team ready to go. I realy believe that we have to define the next two years as play hard to win but as a team in development and rebuilding/retooling stage. This way we dont have to pay Lee or Nate and we get what I think will be a very good C down the line in Mcgee a player who looks like he could be VERY good in uptempo in Blatche and an extra pick next year. Gives us size for down the road when we have unjown with Curry and Randolph.

Doesn't solve the problem with the Knicks crowded position at the 4. If you do this move you will directly cut Gallinari chances to ever have any impact on this team in the near future. I think Mike D' has Chandler slotted at the 3 no matter what. McGee showed he was a ok prospect in SL. He is very athlethic but seems to be a long way off. I think you can get more Lee and Nate than that. Also, I think the Wizards have serious plans for Blatche this season. Move would have made more sense if a deal for Randolph would have went down with the Clippers.

I dont see Gallo playing more than 20 minutes? You can play Blatche 5-4-3 in uptempo and Mcgee can work with patrick Ewing for a year while he gets his body stronger. I dont care about Zach randolph and Curry and we would have two picks in the draft next year.

How about we keep DLee and run him with Gallo and The Mayor in the frontline. I think that would be an exciting lineup and all 3 are unselfish players.

Not a bad deal. Nick Young could start on this team right now and is a great SG/SF prospect. I think that move makes sense for the future of the team.
Jamal/Duhon/Collins
Nick Young/Q-Rich/Duhon
Chandler/Q-Rich/Jefferies
Gallinari/Jefferies/McGee
Randolph/Curry/McGee

Washingto isn't trading the much improved Andrae Blatche anytime soon, he's there future.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

I love Blatche. I think he can fill the entire stat sheet if given the chance. He has maturity issues but I think the window to trade for him may be closing. Blatche and Chandler would make for a interesting combo at the 4-5.

I would seriously look into it. The Wizards actually don't have the playing time for Blatche since they have caron and jaimison locked down for major bread.

I don't think the Wiz will trade both Blatche and McGee. The question is who they like better. Offer Balkman for the other one. If they want Lee, it will cost them either Blatche or McGee plus a first.

I like blatche but I more concerned with a C down the line for us in 2 years, I think Nik Young is the type of SG who could really do well here and it wont give us two picks and control costs [no contracts for le and nate]. Im not big on having two small SG' in nate and roberson. Washington is more advanced than us--this would be a good trade for them to really help compete now. We control costs get a real nice C prospect who should be able to contribute a lot after one hard year of lifting/advanced mentoring because he's very skilled [he easily wouldve been a top 10 in 2009] a true 6-6 athletic SG who fits this style of play + two picks for next years draft which will be a good one again. It would have to wait roughly 2 months to get done but something along this ilk.

Washington has options with these guys.....they could move Caron to sg and start blatche at sf. Nick Young could breakout for them @ shooting guard.

I like Washingtons roster. The maturity of these young guys will take this team to another level. Depth off the bench has always been their weak point.

Between Zach Randolph's love of stripper bitches and Blatches' fondness for hookers, the Knicks could keep the entertainment coming!

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

#1 problem with this proposal is its an in-conference trade. I can't see Walsh looking to trade our two most popular players to a team in the same conference.

If he were to do a deal, I think you look out to western conference teams - just like he was doing with Lee for the 5 pick to memphis.

And given all the moves walsh has made, I bet he waits for the season to start to see what players respond well to D'Antoni.

Trading deadline is probably the soonest he'll make any kind of moves.

That deal is ban worthy are you ****ing serious?

Blacte is never going to put it together and the kid from nevada is bust worthy. Give washington an energy efficient rebounder and scoring and energy off their bench, smart move.

I agree w/ MS. Blatche is a mental midget whose upside is limited by his limited IQ. Who knows what McGee will be, but he was thoroughly unimpressive in pre-draft workouts.
