Espn 1050 is reporting that Baron is going to Clippers for 6 year 65 million. This probably kills the Mobley for Crawford deal.

Damn that sucks. It's good to know that Walsh is looking into alot of deals though.

Yeah it is.. he'll be 35 or 36 when that deal is up. My guess is that they get 3 good years out of him.

hmm. nice lineup, but it has to be some concern that Brand and Diddy want to be in LA so they can produce movies.

but, really, he's getting up there, wanted to be in LA and gets a 5 yr $65M deal instead of one year at $17M. that's $48M more guaranteed. if he had another injury next year, he'd never get another $48 M deal.

I remember watching this story about Baron on ESPN and they talked about how Baron does full practices because of his numerous injuries so he basically just does some non contact drills and cardio.
