Don't be an ass and mention Nash or Kidd.

Try to mention players that are available.

Sergio, sergio, sergio.......

i'd rank the ones we know are vaguely available as:

1) Felton
2) Blake
3) Ridnour
4) Watson
5) Lowry

it's not a great group to choose from and it may be better to wait. I don't want Hinrich because I think we'd have to overpay. I don't think it's remotely possible to get Conley. I don't think Sergio is available and I don't know enough about him. I don't think Beno Udrih is available because Sacramento has nothing else at the point.

i don't know what else is out there.

Ramon Sessions is what I want for a pg. Question is how can the Knicks get him? How about DLee and Jefferies for Gadzuric and Sessions. Bucks might like this move as they have committed to Mo Williams and DLee really helps the Bucks in the rebounding Dept. Knicks get a really good PG who is pass first, and they get a backup center which they need to fill in for Curry. JJ will be a no show again.

i'm not sold on sessions, he had like three good games at the end of the year. the game he 22 assists in the bucks also allowed 150 points to the offensively challenged bulls. i think those games were aberrations.

I like Sessions too but Lee for Sessions straight up is too much. How about Randolph/Lee for Redd/Sessions?

That way we have a real shooting guard and we are free to package Marbury/Curry/Crawford for some other needs. If Sessions doesn't work out, we'll look some more.

We need to consolidate.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

So your willing to take Sessions who played well for a stretch when the season was over most of the teams he played against were packing it in for the summer vacation or resting for the playoffs, but wont take a shot at Felton who is a better player?

There are some disgusting names out there available @ point guard.

Ramon Sessions is probably the absolute best player that will rot on the Bucks bench as long as they have Mo williams. Mo is supposedly on the block. Dude is always injured and he's signed for 5 more seasons.

All jokes aside, Zach Randolph fits into what the Bucks have right now. They can put out a big 3 of Zach, Redd and Rich Jefferson.....they even could use a guy like Lee. Charlie Villenueva is perfect for D'antoni's style.

The Bucks and the Knicks need to make a move but there are so many factors effecting a deal. Sessions makes chump change plua he put up some monster numbers down the stretch........the Bucks ownership has already burned the bridge on Zach Randolph. Would the Bucks take back a bad contract from the Knicks?

David and Malik for Charlie, Session and Gadzuric makes tons of sense but......the Knicks still have Zach........

What to do? What to do?

What I saw from Sessions in the last month of the season is enough for me to know he is more a pure pg than Felton and he is a better fit for the Knicks system. Plus side of Sessions is he a big guard at 6'4''.

Lowry
Eddie House (UFA)

ita hard to fully gauge what Sessions did because it was at the end of the season when teams were either tanking or resting. Remember the month that Mardy Collins had a 2 years ago at the end of the season? Lets see Sessions do it for a a whole season first. Felton is a much better point guard than you are giving him credit for. Stop looking at his numbers and watch him play.

What do you guys think of Carlos Arroyo? He plays totally different in international play. Could D'antoni and his style fit him better and actually tap into that talent he has?

i think he'd be a nice fit skills wise, but not sure how his attitude will mesh... seems like he's had troubles w/teams he's played on getting along w/coaches & whatnot.

at this point, the only point guards that are available will be stop gaps. so it doesn't really matter. i think they should let steph run it next season.

that clip of him shows him more as a SG than anything else... i like Crittendon... watched a buncha Laker games this year & before he was traded he showed some glimpses of ability to orchestrate an offense... not sure if he's the perfect fit to run the point in a run & gun style game tho... i think Arroyo has much more refined PG skills & plays the type of uptempo game... that's what he's comfortable in... the only issue w/him is his ability to get along w/coaches, but skills wise Arroyo is probably the better option for us IMHO.

To Mardy's benefit I think one must take into account that he had knee surgery, and never really recovered from it fully in the course of the season.

arroyo is almost 30.

yeah the clip shows him either driving or finishing mostly. seems thats mostly what the point pos in Phil's triangle does. that alone makes it kinda hard to judge his pg skills.
