I gotta believe that the trade would involve some picks or something coming the Knicks' way. Who did Dallas draft in the second round?

No way can the Knicks take on another huge contract.

The ONLY way I would even CONSIDER this trade is if Houston was shipped out. And Dallas doesnt want him and Raef would still keep our hands tied. This team is getting ROYALLY SCREWED by Layden and Dolan...sorry for the caps but I am getting angry now. Anyone feel like going outside MSG and protesting with me?

I wouldn't be surprised if these fools running out team made a move like that. We'd have no 2-guard, but hey, we're screwed beyond recognition already.

This would be a bad move. LaFrentz is a much better shot blocker.... and might do well with a change but he's on the books for seven years.. bad bad deal. This doesn't look forward at all. We'd have to get alot of 1st rounders to make this work AND have them take Eisley or Anderson off our hands.

We will have the best shot in the NBA at getting a real good first rounder next year- the #1 pick will be all ours.

please don't do that you know how people love to take something and run with it on forums. the knicks are mediocre. middle of the pack there will always be at least 10 teams with worser records

I don't think getting LaFrentz for Thomas would be so bad. Once again we get bigger, younger, and get a shot-blocking natural center. LaFrentz can score in the post and out and plays more above the rim than Thomas. Keon Clark or Theo Ratliff would also work. LaFrentz would be one of the better centers in the east and could have a year similar to Brad Miller, plus some shot-blocking. When you think of the team we have put together when McDyess is healthy, things really don't look so bad.
