No, in that case, Randolph, the weak kid who doesn't know how to play would have been the pick, instead of free falling all the way down to the middle of the round.

Andersen is better than the guy taken with the 6th pick. He can rebound.

Yeah Im sure Danil wouldve dominated the Pac 10. Funny how people say that the competition is so much better in europe than college and then these guys come over here and in most cases bust while there were like 12 Pac 10 guys in the first round. Ryan Andersoni wouldve gone 6th.

Why couldnt we just trade back and get Bayless and Andersen ----doesnt that make a tad more sense?

Kevin Love averaged 17/10 in the Pac 10 last year.

Ryan Anderson averaged 21/10 in the Pac 10 last year.

Sure, if you had a GM who was interested in actually working instead of taking the easy pay check.

Briggs I would have taken Randolph before the Italian just because of his athleticism and ability to block shots. His dad thinks he can be the next Schrempf did that guy average 15-7 in his career. This kid is a couple years away and they will play him at the four. Great pick for tickets and media. My fasvorite line was a leader in the locker room. I am sure Zach, Jerome, Steph are ready to listen to a 19 year old

Toronto kind of tried the 3 pt gig but they also had Chris Bosh and promtly dumped the style as fast as a bad habit. Look around the league--how many teams have two or more monsters inside? When we get rid of Lee Randolp Curry and were left with gallinari and 4 guards Im sure we will do quite well on some nights maybe 25 times.

Martin how do you think they will trade Zach? Steph is easy because he is an expiring? I guess Walsh has the juice to Dolan and say we are cutting the last 70 million owed to Zach and Jerome and cut them loose?

I guess I didn't mean immediately (obviously). Steph will last a year at most. Big Game hasn't been here since day 1. Zach is the tough one to move, but I gotta guess by this time next year he will be gone.

What are you talking about? Milicic, Weis, the bum that Kiki drafted in Denver, and the rest of the of the Euro's who didn't pan out were playing on Junior teams on the european leagues. Not the professional league that Danilo played in.

Look, I'm concerned like everyone else, but give the kid a chance. If Walsh and D'Antoni think that highly of him, then I want to see it. Calling him garbage without ample eveidence is you guys being obnoxious just for the hell of it.

in all due respect----you are the same guy who said bynum would be a major bust and Frye was going to be an all star--you say the same positive things that a member of the actual organization would say right around this time of year?? but you're batting below the mendoza line just like the Knicks. I think chris mullin has you trumped by a tad and with your batting average I wouldnt want to eat my own words again??

Sorry to bump this, but I don't come on all that often. Just as a point of reference against competition that actually got drafted into the NBA: in the 5 games against Stanford and UCLA last year, he averaged 14.8 points, 8.4 rebounds, and shot at a 36.8% clip.

BRIGGS..I like and value your College BBall knowledge but you are starting to sound like Dickie V. We know you don't like Gallinari but you have to give the guy a break. Have you actually seen him play to make an educated opinion on his skills?

No but he is a draft expert if you didn't already know. Don't question his knowledge on the draft. This guy is a genius and never gets anything wrong.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't think cutting a player takes him off the cap. Does anyone know what the rules governing that are?

Do you honestly and I mean honestly believe that Danilo Gallinari would have had superior numbers to Andersen if they were swapped? 21 and 10 with off the charts efg and nearly a 90% FT shooter?
