Come on Rod, go big with the first pick and get the best center in the draft in Brook Lopez.

Great pick. Smart pick. Rod Thorn is a freaking great GM. He has a plan and he sticks to it. He's not worried about a coaches "System", he's worried about putting a good team together.

Jay-Z is waiting for you LeBron to fill in that SF position.

Don't forget Kiki. Remember he could be here instead of Walsh.

Amazing. I'm in awe of the Nets. The Nets rebuild while the Knicks continue to fumble and crumble.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Krstic?

Sure, like MX25 said Yi can play the SF and Nenad can play PF. Thorn is putting together a nice young core and clearing tons of cap space.

Josh Boone isn't Chop Liver folks. He put up close to the same numbers as Lee when you look at their minute production.

With the 21st pick I'd love to see one of these players, in order of preference:

JJ Hickson
Donte Green
Darrell Arthur
CDR
Courtney Lee

I'd guess Nets are looking at Green or Lee at 21. Lee is safe pick but Green has most potential.

Things are shaping up nicely for my Nets. Hickson, Greene, Arthur, CDR and Lee are still all available with 2 picks to go.

I think Koufas or Arthur goes to the Cavs.

Looks like either Greene or Arthur. Either way it's a great pickup for the Nets. Both can play the 3 which is a position of need with Jefferson gone.

Ryan Anderson was rumored as Nets pick since tuesday. I guess they really like him.

Ryan Anderson. Interesting pick. Seems like a bit of a reach but at 21 you can afford to do it.

They aren't going to be the 94 Knicks up front but with Lopez and Williams at the 4 and 5, they aren't soft.

Krstic is a RFA so their pick of Lopez means he's expendable now.

Nets should dump Vince Carter & Krstic & bring in Carlos Boozer next season as a FA... they'll still have enough cap space to offer Lebron a max contract in 2010 w/a few minor moves like letting guys like Marcus Williams & Maurice Ager walk when they become RFA's that year.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Nets are in great shape. Solid draft picks, smart management and clearing tons of cap space for 2010 with an owner who has a solid preexisting relationship with LeBron.
