do clippers take mayo/westbrook/bayless here or is this a precursor to a marion + 2 for brand + 4 deal?

I'm so ****in upset. I'm gonna have a nervous breakdown. Teams that don't have to wheel and deal are pulling off trades the Knicks absolutely need to make.....

Has to be the Marion + 2 for Brand + 4.

Miami must thing the T'Wolves won't take Mayo because if they did, they wouldn't be making this trade.

If the Clips stay at 4, they're probably targeting a guard - Mayo or Bayless. They can definitely get one of them.

They may really want Westbrook. If he was the Knicks guy the Clippers knew they couldn't get him. They may also want Bayless. Maybe they will trade for Marion and Miami's pick.

Yeah, word has it that the Clippers want Westbrook. They are talking about that on WFAN. Who knows though. I don't know why it's so quiet on the Knicks front though. We need to do moves more than anyone else.

they might have done it to put pressure on Riley to take Mayo at #2... they want Mayo in a bad way & they probably think Riley does too... doesn't make much sense for MIN to trade up 1 spot now so Riley will either have to take Mayo at #2 or let him slide, at which point it puts MIN in the position to either take him or make a move of their own... i still don't see Mayo sliding to #4 but i think this move was made to give the Clippers some options & play a little chess w/Riley... at the very least they'll definitely have Westbrooke available.

If the Clips want Westbrook, I see nothing wrong with us snatching Bayless who I think has a higher ceiling than Westbrook. If Mayo was off the board, Bayless is my second option.
