1.) mayo- i would do flips. this is who i want the most as i think msg is made for his game. he is an all- star in the making.
2.) love- not too excited because he is like dlee except with a jumpshot and less athletic.
3.) lopez- i would groan because he sounds to me like channing frye and we saw what happen to him in a matter of two years coming from a supposed promising future to flop.
4.) bayless- i always loved him and i will go absolutely nuts if we get him. i think he is number 4 when it comes to talent and he is, to me, an almost sure pick as a point guard. reminds me of kevin johnson who i was a fan of.
5.) westbrook- i didn't like him in the beginning but after some days of reading about his workouts, he isn't a bad pick. however, i envision him as a good backup point guard or a very toned down mookie blaylock. i would feel a little disappointed.
6.) johnson- not thrilled about this pick. i don't see why we need him because we have lee and at the present time randolph. i am not impressed with him but i may be wrong. i was wrong about stoudamire.
7.) danio- i think that is how you spell his first name but it is the italian kid. well, i heard a lot of mixed things. some people are saying that he is a complimentary palyer only and will never be a great player. however, i also heard that he is far from a bust and will fit well in the nba. i think we can't afford to take this risk. not thrilled.
on a scale of 1-10
1) Mayo - 7, I think he can be an offensive superstar, but I worry he has too much Marbury in his head - aka a superstar in his own mind, more interested in self promotion than winning.
2) Love - 2, slow, fat bastard.
3) Lopez - 1, i've never even considered him. it would be a big waste unless we move Curry/ZBO.
4) Bayless - 9, I think he can be a very very good D'Antoni PG.
5) Westbrook - 10, I would love this kid. Only way I would be happier is if we also got another pick and got a young forward like ARandoplh or Joe Alexander.
6) Johnson??? - I'm assuming this is Joe Alexander? If it's Joe Alexander, I'd be a 8. I think this is a very solid pick and it addresses a weakness, but I think we'd still need D'Antoni's "engine."
7) Danilo - 0. I would puke.
edit: if "Johnson" was meant to be Anthony Randolph, I'd be an 8. I like the kid, but I do have serious misgivings about his work ethic at this point. But I do believe he is extremely skilled and talented and a huge upside guy. Though, if we want him, I think we could trade with the Nets and get 10 and 21 for pick 6 and take AR and another guy we like at 21, like CDR.
