that is left in the top 10 is acceptable to me other than Augustine. Augustine is a slightly better version of Tyron Lue.

I'm no Augustine fan but let's give him a little more credit than that. Did Lue ever put up 19/5? Plus he played at Nebraska.. let's give Augustine a little more credit than that.

I am not sure that Augustine isn't the right guy for the Knicks. However, if they decide that they should try to send the 6th pick to the Nets for 10 and 21.

Lue doesn't have the pure pg instincts that Augustine has. About the same size but thats where the comparisons end. Auguatine is more comparable to Brevin Knight but Augustine has a better jumper.

Don't even bother man, his opinion changes daily and it never makes any sense.

I'll try and help just a reminder here's a couple things he's said...

chances are the Knicks won't get the 1st pick ... but if they do then they should get Beasley and trade Lee + fillers for another pick and get Augustin.

I think Nate should be considerd a main core piece now so you don't want another under 6 foot player other than as a bit player/third back up type.

Hmmmmm Lee for Augustin. This post will come into play shortly

draft pick Lopez 1 Randolph2 Thabeet or Jordan
sign JR Smith G 6-6 225 MLE for four years 21mm
sign Tyrone Lue LLE
resign Fred Jones to a vet minimum
Release Jerome James Mardy Collins and buyout Marbury
Lets say for instance 10 man rotation

C-Curry
F Lee
F Chandler
G Crawford
G Nate
CF Lopez Randolph Thabeet
F Jefferies or Balkman
G Smith
G Jones
G Lue

We get 2 shooters who can go 45% and JR can step into the 3 as well. We get faster longer more athletic yet we keep some continuity that we have seen the last 3 games and from periods of 2006. No abrasive voices like Ron Artest--just guys who fill roles/holes that we need for very cheap on basis.

So you wanted to trade Lee for Augustin who you said is nothing but a Tyronne Lue clone.....

He got pounded by Chalmers and Rose and was exposed against the true NBA sized G. Two under 6 feet guards on the 8 man roster?

I will go on record if we draft DJ Augustin we are NOT drafting the BPA anbd we will pay for it. I can see him as a fit for some clubs not the Knicks at 6 you would have to be kidding me

If we draft augustine I will say that we are just trying any possible way to be medicore to somehow just get to 500 maybe some day and that this organization is no different than 2 months ago.

And you want absolutely nothing to deal with at pick 6. You said Lee is worth a pick in the Top 10 at the top of the month. But you'd sign Lue to the LLE to back up Nate? Which means you'd trade Lee for a backup point guard to Nate. Nice!!!!!!

Trueblue--draftexpress has changed the Knicks pick like 14 times in the last 4 months. Does that mean their site scks? I don't hate Augustin I just dont like him for this team we have NOW. And that account was us having Beasley which would dramtically alter the roster. Do we have Beasley? No What did you say a year ago--oh yeah no one cares.

I already explained this to you but I'll be more detailed this time

Those sites have reps who actually get a chance to talk to team, players,s and player agents. Who may have received promises, who may pull out, who didn't hire an agent, who's scheduled for workouts, who's actually injured which may not be privy to the public, who they get to see workout in person. They aren't doing Youtube Montages of Javale McGee to project where he's going in the draft. So obviously there tends to be more Fluidity of player projections on their Mocks.

Who's the last team, player, or agent you talked to?????

Oh so since we'd have Beasley in the fold you'd lower your own projected value of Lee to get a player you could take or leave? You don't speak Digital...... all Analogous....all the time.

my take:

Jackpot pix: Beasley, Rose, Mayo, Bayless

Pretty happy: Alexander, Gallinari, Westbrook

Concerned about a bust but excited about upside: Randolph

Doesn't fit our team: Love, Lopez

Bust potential: Gordon, Jordan

ditto.. especially Alexander who I am getting a great vibe on. Seems like he's really got a game built for the NBA.

I disagree with you on Love though.. I think he could be a great high post center or low post PF. He's also a great passer and Antoni relies heavily on good passing and rebounding.
