A week ago I noted that everything he does, and he is a hell of a player seems dramatic and while some players seem to glide through the game and make it look easy, he makes everything look hard.

How many times we see this kind of thing:


Stats don't lie, and he does produce.

A few years ago his team was seconds away to advanceing to the second round with an apparent game six victory. Paul with the ball was going to get fouled, and eveyone knew this. Instead of letting it happen, he took offense and with a flair for the dramitic, as usual, he elbows the player, a flagrant against him, and he blows the game. Indy won game 7 and Nalod was happy.

I've seen women give birth with less scorn on their face. In fact, he looks like he all but in the stirups and giving birth himself:

He plays hurt. I think he is tough. But you're right about his facial expressions. You can just tap the guy on the shoulder and he'll look like he's in excruciating pain.

Remember Pierce was stabbed several times in his shoulder when he was younger. He was back playing shortly after that. He is a tough guy and he went it alone for years in Boston.

While at a Boston nightclub, a group of unknown men stabbed Pierce to within an inch of his life. Remarkably, three days after his brush with death, Pierce walked out of the New England hospital on his own and back onto the basketball court. Though playing at half strength, he was the only Celtic to start all 82 games that year. By 2002 the Celtics made the playoffs for the first time in seven years and Pierce guided the team to the Eastern Conference Finals.

It would take two years after the stabbing for the accused men to go before a jury. Conflicting stories and retracted testimony made the case even more of a mystery. And though William Ragland was found guilty of attempted murder and Trevor Watson was convicted of assault and battery, the truth about what happened that September night still remains a mystery.

Pierce is a ***** for acting like he was half dead and then coming back 5 minutes later and playing like nothing happened. Even when he was on the bench, he was up jumping around like a 15 year old cheerleader.

What's more pathetic is that he's still playing it up, talking about how he would never miss a game. Fraud.

He's a better player than most in this league, hell, he is better than Melo and ppl are extatic about trading all of our assets to get Melo. i say we trade the team for PP.

The funny thing is that someone mentioned Pierce pulling a "Willis Reed" with that injury and come back. How pathetic is THAT? Whoever made such a claim needs to be banned from discussing sports and kicked in the nuts for good measure.

Now that he has KG & Ray Allen on his team, he has really stepped up his game. But, if you need two other superstars on your team to play up to your potential, what does that say about you as a player?

he did get to the ECF's w/ toine.

there a lot of stars in the league that can't do it alone. he's one of them. so is ray allen. so is kg.

It says that he's human just like Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Larry Bird. (I think it's a stretch to call Ray Allen a superstar at this point in his career also.)
