Try to trade Nate Robinson and David Lee for Baron and Pietrus and also move Marbury’s expiring contract to make the numbers work.

Everyone wants to win now so no telling what D’Antoni and Walsh might do.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

The draft is on June 26th, Baron Davis can’t be traded till afer June 30th, and sign and trades can’t happen till July.

only way Baron is coming here is in a S&T, which means you're commmitting longterm... no thanks.

NO WAY!!!! Why are you guys always trying to trade David Lee?? In the 70s "Lets trade Dave Debush for HWingo!" Are you guys nuts??? All Lee hasta do is get a jumper, not learn defense, not rebound more, not even be more of a team player. Lee has the right attitude and in my mind could be the next DeBush or maybe Tay prince. A quiet player, good for public relations, does and says all the right things at the right time. A very rare commodity in this league right now.

Cooch, this team needds a floor general with some heart who can lead. Baron Davis would be that guy epeciallyplaying in the eastern conference.

David Lee and Nate along with Marbury is a great trade for the warriors.

Micheal Pietrus and resign Baron davis would turn this team around immeadiately. Along with a solid pick we can compete with a proven winning pg and a hungry wing player that can play on both ends of the ball.

D'antoni would use these two in his running uptempo game style with these players leading the way.

Baron , Craw, Randolph, Chandler and Curry (in shape)

Yea playr and Baron davis is damaged goods so one wrong turn of his back and we are right back where we started. Lee is young and smart, good bball iq etc... as above. Let me ask a question would riley have left the heat if he thought they were going to get better?? IMO riley left because theres something going on with dwade, weather it be his back, knees shoulder or etc.. the heat arent letting the whole world know whats wrong with wade so to me right now until I see him play a long stretch of games hes filed in my "damaged goods" book. We dont need damaged goods, we need young players to run mike ds system and bdavis isnt one of them. Why are the warriors so eager to get rid of davis??

I'd do Curry, Craw, Nate for Baron and Pietrus or for Baron, an expiring 3 mil deal and their pick

The warriors would rather pay a younger MONTA ELLIS and Center BEDERIENS THAT'S WHY.

It's all about the salary cap. I say we do it, Pietrus needs some new scenery too.

Your not going far with B-diddy so why do it.He's a tad bit better then Steph and injured prone, and won't be half of what it is now in 2010

If you understand that the W's want to save $$, ultimately for Ellis & Biedrins, you'd see that Marbury for Baron works for both teams. NO NEED TO give away our best player & one our few that care (Lee) in this deal.

We need pietrus too, Baron and Pietrus would both turn the knicks around.

Baron would make newyorkers forget and be ashame marbury is from NY.

HOW MANY GAMES DID BARON MISS LAST YR? NONE.... he played all 82 games.

Pts 21.8 Reb 4.7 Ast 7.6

Next question

Marbs was a 20 & 8 guy when we made the trade for him... Zach was a "20yo 20 & 10 guy" too, remember? stats aren't the only factor to consider when making trades brah... we gotta think about the longterm ramifications.

trade for Baron & you're likely taking him in a S&T w/at least a 4 yr extension... how do you think he'll hold up over the term of that contract? take a peek at the 5 years prior to last year & how many games Baron missed... you wanna sign that guy up to longterm big dollars & forfeit any chance whatsoever we might have had at all of any other bigname FA's coming here in a couple years? i don't.

please pass on Baron Davis... it's just another in a long line of "make the big splash" trade w/little substance behind it to benefit our longterm picture that we've been making here for a while now... when do we finally learn from the past & stop making the same mistakes?

I'd prefer Monta Ellis to Baron Davis. Davis is the better player now, but I don't think that will last too long. And Davis is a huge part of the Warriors success so I'm not sure they're looking to hand the reigns over to Ellis (but who knows).

What about Nate/Lee + Malik + rights at 6th for Ellis and rights at 14th/Brandon Wright?

i like Ellis but Nate/Lee, Malik & the #6 for Ellis & the #14 is too much to give up.

I wasn't sure about posting that idea because I thought the Knicks were giving up too little... If that's too much then, maybe something more beneficial for the Knicks could be worked out. I don't know, I think Ellis is a young, special player that would thrive with Mike D'Anotni so I' be willing to pay a higher price to get him. I'd actually have a lot of fun watching him, Crawford, Chandler, and either Lee or Nate run up and down the court. Brandon Wright/#14 (let's say Joe Alexander) would likely contribute too. I wouldn't be on it, but Randolph might actually work on a team like that because he'd be expected to look for his offense quickly. Jeffries might actually be serviceable at center, a la Boris Diaw.
