From The Miami Harold: "One Heat official expressed concern that Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni will try to ingratiate himself to Dwyane Wade (and LeBron James) as a U.S. Olympic assistant coach this summer in case the Knicks can clear cap space to pursue either as free agents in 2010."

I'm a big Wade fan, if he wasn't so injury prone this would be perfect for NY. He has a great attitude. 2010 can't come soon enough.

Wade is my third, maybe even forth choice. I don't like the fact that he's injury prone. No sir!
I'll never trust this' team again.

Can you guys imagine? If we had true cap space after two more seasons, we can actually make a play for 'two' stars!

LeBron & Paul
LeBron & Howard
Howard & LeBron

If we took Wade, then I'd want Howard the following year.
I'll never trust this' team again.

Wade would be my 4th or 5th choice, but holy crap, what a choice to have... flexibility my friends.

Out of the 4 stars about to become a free-agent in 2010, one of them will be a Knick.

Carmelo, LEbron, Wade or BOsh. QUestion is which one?

I don't like Bosh. I can live with any of the other 3, although Wade make me nervous because he is more fragile than an 80 yr olds hip.

This would be the best thing next to getting LBJ. I'm a huge Wade Fan...... only Jersey I own of a current player.

If we had Howard and Lebron I think I would break down into tears. Wade is nice, but Im not giving max dollars to the next Penny Hardaway.

If I'm not mistaken, Carmelo was the only one to sign a 5 yr deal with his team as opposed to Wade, Lebron, and Bosh, no ?

Melo's contract expires a year after their opt out's come into effect... Chris Paul may be 1 of those guys tho unless he signs an extension w/the Hornets in his RFA year.

LeBron's end's 2010-11. He'll have a player option that year.

This will sound crazy, but: If LeBron announces that he wants to go somewhere else, by the end of 2009-10, then we can offer the Cavs two expirings in curry and Jeffries. The money will match almost exact at 17 million. That is what LeBron will make in his last year. The following year, he'll be able to command 18 to 20 million for let's say another four years. Maybe five.

I know? It's long shot for that' deal to happen. It's only one scenario.

Now, the following year, 2011-12, Dwight Howard is in his' last year, before his player option year the following (2012-13). If he wants to leave and come to New York, then he can skip the option and come to New York, because he's gonna be making $17 million for 2012-13, which is when Zach Randolph will be gone, and exactly $17 million dollars will be waiting for Howard.

It's almost perfect! This is one way I see getting LeBron and Howard to New York.

Go to hoops and make the comparisons yourselves.

Of course, LeBron will be the tough one to get.

In which case, if that fails, then we can go after Chris Paul. The tricky part about him is 'he'll have a qualifying offer, in his 2009-10 last year. If there is no extension of his contract, then he too can opt out to play for us, in 2010-11, where we can sign him to a five year deal.

This is why I think we need to draft a promising center right now, in the draft. I see a couple options for guards and forwards in two years. So we can/should consider a center instead.

Anything can happen to make the money a little more flex, especially by 2010-11. dolan might be willing to consider a buyout, to try and jar one of the stars loose.

And that's the main reason why I don't want to try to trade a zach right now. At least we know that the money will be safe for the next two year.

I prefer LeBron because he's the intense player. The kind you want to carry you to the finals.

But, if everyone where to settle for Howard and Paul, then I'd have no problem with that at all.
I'll never trust this' team again.
