We might as well trade this ****ing pick. Picking 6 isn't going to yield us ****ing jack ****. This is horrible.

I don't even know what to say. I never really looked at this as an option. Now I don't know what we should do. Does it even matter? The only thing we can hope for is that one of these other guys turns out to be even better than expected.

Danilo may be a smart move at that point. It's a departure from what we've done in the past and he'd likely do well under D'Antoni.

i was thinking the same nixluva... Gallinari seems like a great fit for D'Antoni's system... a good shooting SF who can run the break, has length & ballhandling ability & the skills to create his own shot... i think it would be nice to have a Euro talent on this team for a change also.

That would be an Isiah move since he scouting over seas. Thats the last thing anyone on this board wants.

Who is going to want the 6th pick when the chances are pretty good that the same player could be available at 10-13?

The 6th pick is devalued because of the lack of quality.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

lol... i don't care if it's Isiah making the choice or Walsh... bottomline is i think he could help this team & has the skillset that would go well w/D'Antoni's system... it's not like all of Zeke's draft picks have been horrible... he's made some good picks in his day... it's his trades & FA signings that have been bad.

This is the mentality that kept us from building a great team over the last 6 years. I don't view trading this pick unless it's for NJ's 10-21[which I would have to think about] OR Carmelo Anthony[which I highly doubt will happen if Im Denver]. I think the players that would be safe picks are not there at 6 so we have to look at *ceiling* when we weigh in what the BPA is @ 6. Now we just have to wait it out--I don't think the Knicks can rush to judgement right now.

i agree BRIGGS... it sucks that we didn't get lucky but the odds were against us anyway... i don't think it's the end of the world that we got the #6 pick... now let's see what Walsh does with it.

depends on what the knicks think of randolph. i think the top 5 in this draft are pretty clear...rose beasley, mayo, lopez, bayless. i'm not huge on bayless bc he is an undersized combo guard that is score first, but he could be a better version of monta ellis, or be a better version of barbosa for d'antoni so you never know. if the knicks aren't high on randolph (seems to be the 6th best prospect as of now), maybe trade down with the nets as BRIGGS mentioned - at 10 we can still probably get westbrook or augustin if they want him, plus at 21 we could get someone like robin lopez as a defensive big.
