i would start Lee at PF w/Beasely as the SF if we were lucky enough to land the top pick.

wouldn't mind taking a shot at Livingston on a 2 yr guarantee

Zach to CLE = not happening unless we throw in a sweetener

What is the market for Wallace right now---tiny--if they agree to take on that last year--they add much needed offense. Remember the team is controlled by LBJ--onm that team Zac is a piece of the pie---If I was Cleveland I would do it if I had nothing comparable--am I going to live with ben wallace for two more years?

I like the Livingston aquisition. That would be great move. I saw th 4th quarter of the cavs-celtics game and Wallce didn't shoot that point blank shot that all NBA players should shoot. All he had to do was collect the ball and turn and shoot, intead he passed it up for a LeBron forced three.

All I can say is the Knicks need badly to win the lottery or be number 2 more than any team in the NBA. I'll say it right now I weant Beasley over Rose.

Its not about them not wanting to do it but the fact they have to do it. Cavs badly needed interior scoring vs cetics and Zach would have been able to help that team probably take boston out in 6 games. Cavs are an atrocious offensive team they needed help.

give up Ben Wallace's defense inside for more scoring & you're just creating a hole to fill another & taking on added salary in the process... i've said it many times, what they needed was someone who could take the pressure off Lebron's shoulders to orchestrate on every play when teams would double & triple down on him... they needed someone on the perimeter who could make other teams pay for doing that & give Lebron a break from all the wear & tear he went through on this playoff run... i have zero confidence that Zach Randolph would be of interest to the Cavs... i think there's a better chance that Jamal would be on their radar than him... just my opinion.

Whats my cap? I have to pay Ben wallace 14mm a year for the next 2 anyway[the cavs have to]. The benefit we get is cap room year 3. The benefit they get is a tremendous upgrade in talent. Im not sitting with ben wallace if Im the cavs and im offered zach randolph--the market will be tiny for wallace--he's shot--it would only effect our team in the third year.

It's a work in progress--that's all I would ask. Get rid of the cap chunk in year three and add three young athletic players. If Livingston doesnt wrokout--we dont lose anything but a few bucks.

If we get pick one or two- does DW alter his effort to get cap space in 2010? I mean either Rose or Beasley might be that special player you need to get.

Of course, Watching Lebron unable to singlehandedly get his team past the celts, you need more than one guy.

I think if we landed Beasely, I could see D'Antoni playing him at the 5 & Lee at the 4 - along with Chandler at the 3 - that gives you a decent front line- mobile, quick.

I don't see any team taking on that much extra money for a player who won't share the ball with Lebron. That said, I'd be ecstatic if they would do the deal. Forget getting a draft pick from them; Ben Wallace for Zach would be cause for celebration for us.

Shaun Livingston thats insane even before his freak injury the kid was seriously injury prone no way I would take a chance on him.

I disagree. I think Shaun Livingston will be back, but it's going to be difficult for him to "get paid". That knee of his is gottsa be held together by string, silly putty and crazy glue.

i hear that but on a 2 yr deal it doesn't really hurt our cap situation... the upside is obvious... it's not a big deal to take him on at 2 yrs & $12 mil w/a team option for a 3rd like BRIGGS suggested IMO.
