Avery Johnson. D'Antoni blows.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Anyone who votes for neither, is fine by me. I assume you know someone who is even more well established and better then all of the above.

I voted for D'antoni......but in the Knicks case? The Knicks need a guy that's willing to suck for 1-3 years. If it weren't for his corny accent and his stupid facial expressions I would say avery.

thibodeau would be ideal i think, although i think i'd be happy with either of the 3. d'antoni is better off going to toronto or GS where they have teams that are built for his style - our team has no point guard and our big guys cant run. thiboudeau could be another jvg type which is what we probably need...instill some defense in the team while we rebuild.

On the defense part, I agree. We need someone to tell these guys that it's okay to stop the opposing players from scoring. Apparently, isiah didn't tell them that.

Hey French! I was wondering how your trip came out? How'd it go? Did you get to do everything you wanted to? How the girl like the experience?
I'll never trust this' team again.

My ideal candidate is Kevin O'neal. But I don't know if he'd levae Arizona. If not than I'd settle for Tom Thibodeau.

Just out of curiosity.. why do you have so much interest in Kevin O'Neill?

He's the kind of coach I think the Knicks need. A coach who stresses defense and always works his players hard.

I believe that Cap'n Zeke is the best man to coach this group of players.

Does anyone have any idea of what Mark Jackson's BB philosophy is? Has he ever openly expressed an opinion on what he would find to be most important for a basketball team? I don't recall anything myself, but I have a feeling that Donnie knows and was in agreement with his thinking. Also it's possible that Donnie expressed his philosophies to Mark over the years and feels like he groomed him a bit in terms of how to run a team.

Of course this is all conjecture, but for a guy with no experience I would think that Donnie is one of the few guys that has a clue as to what kind of man Mark is. It's possible that he feels very comfortable with Mark in that he already knows a bit about how they'd work together. With a guy like either Avery or D'Antoni, there's a possible conflict in terms of how Donnie may want to build the team. Maybe Mark would be a good move to grow with the team as Donnie remakes it.

If you choose Mark it would have to be based on an educated guess that Donnie knows something we may not and that Mark could fit better into the plan for this teams rebuild.

I like Avery over D'Antoni, tho I wouldn't have a problem with him being hired. I actually picked Mark tho. I always liked his understanding of the game. Plus he's from my old neighborhood
