Looks like the non rebounding raptors finally got exposed.

GM Brian Colangelo had better get a rebounding stud or he is a fraud.

This team hasn't had rebounders since Antonio Davis and Jerome Williams.

They have a euro team and chris bosh to try and compete in the NBA.

Most likely the raps will trade TJ Ford in a package to move up in the draft or for some sort of veteran athletic rebounder with some girth.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

95% chance tj is traded (even tho jose can fetch more in return)
60% chance smitch stays

they have expiring deals they could move in AP/rasho/garbo.

i expect some major moves for BC this summer. maybe marion ends up there? maggette?

it'll be interesting.

What happened? DinoBosh and his merry Euros are soft.

btw, i was fascinated by the raptor online fanbase in their views of the team, how they reacted to this season and their whole tj/jose "debate". the past few years following the knicks and then really following the raptors the past 2 years changed me as a fan.

yup, the raptors are soft. they don't defend well and they lost in the first round of the playoffs again. BUT i still laud colangelo for the job he did up there. he basically took a franchise that was dead in the water, built a team that appealed to the fans in the area, built a team in a totally unique matter, and did a decent job with them in a short time.

but 2 years later, he knows that he has to make changes. he didn't commit to any long term deals and can easily change up the roster again. interesting summer for them. they need a big time wing player to help out bosh.

Once they get rid of T.J. they'll be fine because I know BC can get a good deal done. T.J. was outplayed by Jameer overall. Besides Jose will make sure everyone gets theirs and he's extremely unselfish almost to a fault. BC needs to put a couple more playmakers around Bosh and JC in the mold of Moon and they'll be fine. Just make sure they get in the form of a big.

In what way because this sounds very similar to something I would say.

Balkman and Nate to the Raptors for T.J. Ford. Balkman gives them rebounding. Nate gives them a backup pg who can score. Ford is a huge injury risk, but you put in stipulations in his contract, like we did with Curry, and you roll with him.

Well, at least he's better than Kwame Brown. And, unlike Kwame, I've read that he's going to some heavy work on his game over this summer.

The Magic were just better and the Raptors had nobody to match up with Howard. No interior player to get him in foul trouble or make him play someone on defense.

Maybe the Knicks can pawn off Eddy Curry on the Raptors. He would be a good fit for that team. Bosh likes to play on the perimeter but can cover for Curry's rebounding and interior defense inadequacies and they have really good shooters and a solid PG. I'd do Curry for TJ Ford.

Well, if you're Michael Jordan: the other 59 guys in that draft.

I'd do this trade under a must condition. Marbury must be exiled before T.J. arrives here. I don't want T.J. anywhere near Marbury because he has premature Marbury on court/on the sideline personality.
