Clinton further displayed tough talk in an interview airing on "Good Morning America" Tuesday. ABC News' Chris Cuomo asked Clinton what she would do if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear weapons.

"I want the Iranians to know that if I'm the president, we will attack Iran," Clinton said. "In the next 10 years, during which they might foolishly consider launching an attack on Israel, we would be able to totally obliterate them."

Too bad she has acted so poorly recently in terms of her personality and some stupid attempt to use Obama's remarks against him. Instead of attacking her opponent--she should ve always stayed on issue because I feel she would be quite good a good leader if put in power. She hurts herself.

Now getting to Iran[and perhaps you can throw in Venezuela as well] the leaders of their countries have talked serious smack and have not held back--but for goodness sake I'm glad Hillary stood up and said that Iran would not exist anymore if they tried to attack Israel. I hope the leaders of Iran and Venezuela let this reverberate through their minds

Why is it too bad? It just shows us what type of person she is before it's too late and she gets elected.
She's a snake of a politician, and I'm glad she's losing.

I don't think it necessarily requires a great personality to be a good/great leader at a time when we need experienced leadership. This lady has been dragged through the mudover the years and is still standing strong. She has fortitude experience and thick skin with a brilliant mind.

What good is experience in the absence of good judgment? I thought the whole point of gaining experience was to enable the person to make good judgment, because judgment is what leads to decision-making. This is what I haven't understood about the experience argument. People are treating the two variables (experience and judgment) as if they are of equal importance. But they're not. Judgment is logically much more closely related to decision-making than experience is. In fact, the only way experience could even affect decision-making would be, ironically, through its effects on judgment (i.e., experience --> judgment --> decision-making). No matter how you frame it, if you look at the two variables closely, experience cannot override judgment in importance because judgment is more proximally related to decision-making. (I'm an Obama supporter but I'll admit he has failed to make this obvious argument.)

Excellent point. Even more, being experienced should hold you more accountable for what you have accomplished. If it is not much or if its negative stuff, which seems to be the case with Hillary- then experience at being not very good should be held against her.

Kinda reminds me of picking a coach for the knicks.

Do you all think that possibly the gov't is deliberatly letting the gas prices soar like this & affecting EVERYTHING we purchase to try & trick the people that this war is needed because of the oil ?

I believe ALL the rich are involved , both Democrats & Republicans , plus "other" world leaders & the affluent everwhere .

Gov't controls the price of oil?

Regarding Polititions, great leaders are not always great people, and great people don't always make great leaders.

Obama represents the hope many Americans would like to have. He is refreshing. Hillary as an "insider" is a snake who understands the system.

Im afraid Obama does not have the "juice" to deal with the ugly world and that Hillary, as nasty as she is might be better equiped to get us thru.

And McCain as a moderate republican does offer some attrictive qualities.

Don't write him off. He is just saving his money.

I am half-iranian, so I always find it very difficult to actually comment on **** like this.
But there are some basic statement Id want to make.
Now I see it as VERY wrong for any country to openly threat another one. Be it Iran threatening Isreal or the US threatening Iran!
I am scared as hell of war cause it will inevitably mean death and pain for so many innocent people!
I dont approve any action or statement of the iranian governement, still I find it VERY annoying of the US to constantly interfere with the issues of other countries!!! That is NOT their duty!!!
I think the US should have learned from the completely ****ed up situation in Iraq, about turning over a regime without any "followup plan" that is supported by the majority of the people of that country!!!

Dont get me wrong I DO feel bad like I stated earlier about ANY threatening of the state of Isreal by the iranian governement, but it will be the same stupid action to actually bring war to Iran!!!
Hearing this bull**** I pray for Hilary to lose the elections as I pray for a change in Iraninan policy, as Ahmadinedschad is a stupid hardliner!!!

This is what I don't get! Where has she proved that she has a "brilliant mind"?
As for experience, there have been over 40 other first-ladies, doesn't mean they were qualified to be president just because their husbands were. How much longer has she been in the Senate than Obama?
Please. She's a (snake) politician who has been pushed to be President by the Democratic Party's powers-that-be even before she stepped foot in the Senate.
It's funny, every time I ask one of her supporters which of her policies do they like, they can never answer!
It's just an *aura* that has been created around her. There is no substance aside from ambition.

Right. In addition to my argument above, Hillary has barely any more experience than Barrack. She was married to the president while Barrack was an elected official. After that, she served one half of one term longer in the US Senate than Obama has.

Hillary did run the country for eight years. Does anyone really think it was Bill?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

This is basically Hillary trying say she has a bigger d*ck than Obama.
I would be forced to vote for her if she somehow won the nomination, but the more the race goes on, the more difficult that becomes. I really liked Hillary the person (what I knew of her) before the race began. But the way she has behaved and the things she has said, I have very little respect left for her.

Iran is already attacking Israel. Who do you think supports Hamas? Who is firing rockets onto Israel every day? Hamas, like Hezbollah are Iranian proxies. Now you have Hezbollah arming themselves to the teeth in Lebanon because the UN "peacekeepers" are standing idly by and watching them stockpile THOUSANDS of Iranian made missiles with much bigger payloads than before. Then you have Syria, another Iranian proxy doing their dirty work and creating all sorts of instability in Lebanon. Only a matter of time now before Hezbollah launches another cross boarder attack into Israel. Then Israel will hit back even harder and the world will once again condemn Israel. The fuking UN is useless and have created a humongous disaster in waiting in Lebanon. And when Hezbollah attacks Israel next time, the Israeli's will bomb the **** out of Syria.

So thats the solution you have? Bomb the **** out of any country in the middle east other than Israel? Thats stupid hardliner talk!!! Obviously there is a bunch of hate in the area coming from both sides and as always it will not solve the problem to drop bombs at the other people is that so difficult to understand? There is no use in talking, about the legitimacy of the hate... only possible solution is to actually put it aside and start to make the wounds heal.

I remember people felt that about John Kerry, which is why Bush won in a landslide after destroying the country for four years at the time. Hopefully the same won't happen this time.

obama's approach to iran is the same as his approach to all "rogue" nations: to talk to their leaders and not shut them out, to try to hear them instead of forcing them to accept american positions/stances.

No, that is the solution of Iran. Except they do it through it proxies and plead innocent when called out.

Bigsmooth--the question was what would you do[hillary] if Iran attacked Israel with nuclear bombs--so you think the appropriate response is to talk to them?
