I'm with you Isles. Several good men have come to this organization and left with their reputations shattered, while Isiah continues to have Dolan's ear. If Walsh is smart, he will learn about what happened during the LB era and do himself a favor. Get Isiah as far away from this organization as possible. IT will be tough enough to maintain his good name just competing against Dolan. He does not need Isiah undermining him(which he will do).

I'm just upset that I never got to hold up my "no more years" sign.

Posted by Bippity10: Exactly! I don't get the people who think that Isiah staying with the organization in any capacity as being harmless. That's really being naive. Isiah is a ****roach. He'll do anything to survive and the only way to stop him is to stomp him under your foot and crush the life out of him. If Donnie keeps him around, it's only a matter of time before Isiah is sitting with Dolan at games, continuing to whisper sweet nothings in his ear. Isiah won't be sitting there silently waiting for his contract to expire, he's going to be looking to get Dolan to give him another fat extension as he tries to resuscitate his NBA life. Donnie Walsh signed a 3 year contract. Isiah has 3 years left. In 3 years Donnie should just be finishing up cleaning up Isiah's mess and putting his own team together. That's not a lot of time to start getting results and with Walsh nearing 70, Dolan could easily be fooled into thinking that it's safe to get Isiah back into the mix, as a behind the scenes consultant with increasingly considerable pull since he's so close to Dolan. Knowing Isiah's MO as we all do, this is all a very real situation. Like Bippity said, look at what Isiah did with Larry Brown, making sure he was in Dolan's ear. Get rid of Isiah completely and let's start the process of cleaning this mess up and moving forward. If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Posted by islesfan: Co sign. The thought of Isiah getting reassigned within the organization, when the average-Joe-f***-up would be fired, disgarced and and hung in efigy disgusts me to my core. Walsh needs to mop-ring-and dry this organization of the stink Isiah has blanketed this oragnization with. Sooner rather than later to show he means business. |

24 minutes to go before Donnie Walsh is officially on the clock.

It's not so hard.

Posted by BigSm00th: Its a damn shame that a man who has a record of 56 wins and 118 losses as coach, not to mention the millions of dollars he has wasted, and the years he has set the franchise back, we still dont know for sure if he will be completely flushed from the franchise. Only with a Dolan lead team. |

Knicks only finished 43 games back in the division. To a team that doesn't know what "formidable" means.
