White's a good one. I'll go with Jason Thompson from Rider. I like his well rounded game. He can score both inside and out, board and block shots. He played against weak competition, but did dominate at that level.

Jumont Gordon of miss st, at 6'4 he does a lil bit of everything.

Reminds me of a young anthony peeler
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Former McDonalds all-american Nick Calathes, from St Joes, is a very interesting prospect.

I think you mean Pat--that is his brother who is the PG for Florida. All of those guys can play.

One guy that was amazing (but not sure if he's in the draft) was Brazelton of W Ky.

I agree with Chris Douglas-Roberts. I'd choose him or Tyler Smith at the likely "special players" that could be taken at the end of the draft.

I like that kid from west virginia, Joe Alexander.. He plays strong, quick in the post and actually has some nice offensive moves...

Good call on Alexander.

I think, in terms of upside, one of the most impressive guys is Terrance Williams of L'Ville.

I really really really liked Josh Duncan from Xavier. He played spectacular in the tournament, defended Joe Alexander fantastic in their game. I think he can be a solid rotation player in the NBA.

Earl Clark of Louisville if he comes out. I think he should stay another year to develop but he is a skilled all around player. 6'8 220 can play either forward position.

Donte Green has slipped in some draft boards but he 6'10 SF who can shoot, get out in transition and even block a shot or two.

Mario Chalmers if he can learn to play point. Excellent defender with long arms. He is a Rajon Rondo without the inate pg skills but a better offensive player.

Tyler Smith reminds a little of Josh Howard (good call SC).

Late in the draft as in 2nd round you mean right? These are my safest picks as far as getting the most return:

(1) Josh Shipp - I'm a big fan. Last I heard he was still on the fence as far as making a decision on whether or not to declare. If he enters his name in the ring, some team will be very lucky to get him. He probably won't be a star, but I think he's NBA ready. Good size (6'5"), sweet shooting stroke with quick release & legit NBA trey range despite going cold for that long stretch this season which I basically chaulk up to as a fluke anyway. Normally, a very steady performer. That shot to win the game over the back board was awesome even though it shouldn't have counted. Overcame numerous injuries to play at a pretty high level for most of this season against top-flight competition every night. Very smooth, effortless like performance night-in, night-out. Best attribute is his jumpshot but he has the ability to help out in a number of areas. Kind of reminds me of a slightly smaller/slightly less athletic version of Ron Mercer but could have that type of impact. I think he's a steal in the 2nd round.

(2) Shan Foster - another SG prospect with excellent size (6'6") and solid athletic ability. Awkward release on the jumper but whatever man, he's very effective. Shows a lot of guts. So clutch for Vandy this season. Personally saw the guy step up and take and make I don't know how many threes down the stretch of games to either force OT or win games. If a team has a second rounder and they're looking for a complementary shooter late in the draft, you can do a lot worse than this guy.

(3) Brandon Rush - yet another SG with nice size. Not the gunner his brother is but can do a little of everything. Very well-rounded. Opened a lot of eyes taking his team all the way to the end this year. Probably won't still be on the board come the 2nd round though.

(4) Taj Gibson - OJ Mayo gets all the hype for USC but this guy is a real steady performer for them. Does all the dirty work. I don't quite see the Vin Baker comparison (nbadraft.net again, jeeeez...), but definitely reminds me of PJ Brown/Tyrone Hill - both decent PFs with long careers, **** Brown's still playing. 14th in the NCAA in blocks per/game with 2.5/game (ahead of such names as Anthony Randolph, Joey Dorsey, Roy Hibbert, Robin & Brook Lopez - impressive).

Birth Place Nashville, TN
Height 6-4
Weight 230 lbs.
Position G-F

Junior guard and All-SEC selection Jamont Gordon is one of the country's most versatile players, averaging 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.8 assists.

If he comes out I would love to steal this guy in the latter rounds.

In the the tourney game against memphis st he played 38 min 7-16 from the field against a good defensive team
11 REBS 5 ASSIST WITH 21 PTS.

Courtney Lee could be a steal. I think the biggest lottery flops will be Lopez.
