Cuz the dude is definately running **** the last few games. He's arkward......his body and movements look like a cross between Rashard Lewis, Lee Nailon, Tim Thomas, Darius Miles, etc........meaning athletic, but not all that explosive, yet sneaky and unothodox with enough power and strength to make you think he might actually be a power fwd.

As I type this he is having a career game against Detroit.....

So.....what are we looking at? Are we looking @ a starter?

Morris and Chandler should have gotten minutes during the season. Morris, I can't tell but Chandler can play. These guys would be farther along had they gotten as little a 10 to 15 minutes a game all season.

Siar - let's not get crazy. But it is nice to see someone cut into Jamal's shot attempts and, for the second game in a row, lead all scorers within the context of the (cough) offense.

enyspree - Forget how he "looks". He ain't nunna the guys you listed. The Mayor takes care of the basketball, displays excellent decision-making on shot selection and creates unique matchup problems if you play him as a guarding guard. The best part is not his athletic ability but his intelligence. The dude, despite limited minutes this season, is a quick study.

Quentin Richardson, nice seein' ya' ... don't forget to write.

Once the playoffs were out of the question Chandler should have gotten the majority of the minutes. It is hard to believe that he was forced to sit while Q, Jeff, and Balkman stunk up the joint. He might be the first pick Isiah has made for the Knicks in the first round that proves to be worthy of a first round pick other than Lee. How come he can hit a jump shot, block shots, rebound and play defense? Isn't he supposed to only be good at one aspect of the game if Isiah drafts him?

The Answer Man Had A Man Crush on The Mayor in July (and you Know The Answer Man Don't Roll Like That)

Q. CrushAlot - How come he can hit a jump shot, block shots, rebound and play defense?

A. Cuz that what he do. You forgot to mention The Mayor also has three point (2-2) range.

Q. CrushAlot - Isn't he supposed to only be good at one aspect of the game if Isiah drafts him?

A. Isiah drafted Marcus Camby, David Lee and Tracy Mc Grady and they don't suck that bad. But there was/is no doubt Zeke needs his azz kicked for staying with Chubb Rock aka Quentin Richardson for WAY too long after it was apparent that his performance on both offense and defense was a liability.

I just hope Donnie Walsh taped the game.

Misterearl - I hope you don't think I'm saying is as good as any of the players I mentioned........I'm just talking about physical similarities.....like when he crosses over and drives he reminds me of Lee Nailon. Just watching him run in the open court reminds me of Rashard Lewis. His jumpshot kinda reminds me of tim thomas. He fights for rebounds and blocks shots like Darius Miles.......

He's his own man for sure. Maybe this guy can seriously lock into that 3 spot. That would help out a lot.

What is Donnie seeing? Does he see a guy worth building around? Or does he see a dude worth trading?

Misterearl, my point is that Frye, Nate, Mardy and Balk all have major limitations. Zach, Jefferies, Curry, J.J., could never be described as all around players. Marbury, Francis, J. Rose, Malik, etc. where do you rank these transactions. Maybe you should praise Scott Layden for the teams that he built around Malone and Stocton. Thomas is a joke, unprofessional, incompetent, and a disaster. Wilson Chandler having a run in the last 12 games of Isiah's 4 1/2 year reign of terror does not change that.

i saw him tear up summer league and wondered why this kid did'nt get any minutes. how about that, could it be that we had the golden egg sitting on the bench but zeke's too much of an idiot to play his own pick? that's like having a full house and folding.

He's developing nicely. I'm looking forward to seeing how he plays next season. He's got the kind of well rounded game that this team needs going forward.

Not to reign on everyone's parade but how many rookies have we seen do this? They look great at the end of the season where most of the playoff positions are already decided and other teams are just in straight up tank mode. Every year it seems that there is always one Knicks rookie he looks like a stud. I've always felt that if a guy can survive an entire 82 game season and puts up solid numbers consistently then thats when I'll get excited.

2006 Channing Frye

2007 Mardy Collins/Renaldo Balkman

2008 ?

He appears phsically much different from those players. In fact I almost cant believe the change on his touch from earlier in the season. He was brick city and now he is dead on. I think we have a winner here in this kid--he has something that those guys did not have. Also I would not count Channing Frye on the bust list--he's just not as good as people were making him out to be. He can still average 14-6 in the NBA if given a chance which are good numbers.
