I don't want the bulls having any shot at anything. They got enough thank you.
I'll never trust this' team again.

^ Ricky Rubio. I like the stutter step. I like the anticipation. I like the No Fear attitude he seems to have going to the basket. I like a pass first PG. I like a tall PG.
He could very well average 10 assists and 4 dimes in the NBA |

Am I the only one who actually thinks Mark Jackson when he watches this vid?!
The way he moves, the court vision and anticipation... |

Posted by dodger78: Hmmm. Nope. Action Jackson did not move that well and Mark could not dunk like that. I see a taller Nash. Actually, I see a combination Nash and Kevin Johnson. I like him a lot on this highlight reel, but it is what it is...a highlight film. What are his stats? How far does his teams go into the playoffs? Is he a leader? |

Posted by NYKBocker:Posted by dodger78: He was only 17 on that vid and plays an integral part for his team in the spanish league... good competition without question!!! He even made his debute in the league at 15!!! Averages 11 points 5 assists in 24 min. on a good spanish team (second behind Real Madrid). |

Ricky Rubio has the word potential all over him. He is 18 years old and has been playing witht he pros for 3 years! And playing in the ACB league is certainly soooo much competitive than college. He average a triple double in the junior European championship and a cuadruple double in the finals hitting a midcourt 3 pointer to go for extra time.
I think he has to play at least a couple more years in Europe to consolidate his jumpshot and PG skills, but I have very little doubt that he will be an excellent PG with nice size and defense. Why? Because his coach is the same that built Pau Gasol into a monster and the same that has turn Rudy Fernandez into the best Spanish player of the moment. Definately my all time favourite coach in Spain: Aito García Reneses. |

Ricky Rubio Spain I like the write-up but the Pistol Pete comparison might be a little over the top. |

Well Pete Maravich was ... unique in his style of play!!! But this outstanding courvision might be something those two connect!!!
Damn I loved Pistol Petes Wristpass!!! |

Last night was the first time I have watched Derrick Rose in the tube and his demeanor and facial expressions reminded me a lot of Dinglebury. Is his attitude a concern? I am not at all familiar with college bball and I rely on the folks here, BRIGGS et al, and other draft sites like NBADraft.net.
Should this be a concern once Stern freezes the png pong balls? |

I didn't really see anything outside of a missed free throw that reminded me of stephon. If anything Rose wasn't agressive enough and tried to get his teammates involved.
He will be a lot more effective at the next level because teams aren't going to zones very often. The kid is better than any guard on our roster right now and has a sense of poise to his game. He would be a top 10 pg next year, and has all the skills to be great. |
