He's just gonna make us marginally better. We'll get the 9th or 10th instead of a top 3 lottery pick for the next few years. No thanks. Take back long-term deals only for players who you want to be part of the long-term picture.

as long as we dont have to take back any bad deals for him
i think they might want to package tinsley with him
and in that case we'd have to give rose to do so
i'd rather give them zbo or jjefries

he has 1 more year than steph's...that's why i suggested it.

it saves indy a ton of money. dolan will "use resources" like stern/walsh stated.

bonn, it's not about the caliber of player in o'neil, it's about changing the environment here and getting rid of the junk.

jermaine is a good guy and a smart individual. he also fills somewhat of a void and the committment is only 2 years (1 more than steph).

i would say this has 25% chance of happening (which is very high).

except 1 year longer. But not in that crucial 2010 year/summer when the knicks hope for cap room.

that's it.

it's a simple deal and it helps his old boss and his new boss. nothing else needs to be involved...maybe indy gives us a 2nd rounder but that's it. no need for more.

I wouldn't mind but then Donnie would have to move the Big Caca eddy curry.

I wouldn't mind if he tried to get former Indiana players, like al harrington either......whatever you know? Just make some moves and improve the team.

In Donnie we trust.

DJ in the clutch again.......this idea makes tons of sense serously.

Can you turn Q into a doggie and maybe malik or jerome james into a sword or funny hat.

If we're spending $ forty million (Jermaine's salary plus luxury tax), we have to get someone who is part of the long-term solution out of it. If we're taking back that kind of salary, we need to get at least one young, two-way player. I'd rather stink next year and get a better pick than have Jermaine. Change the culture by buying out the contracts of the players who have hurt the culture. Or suspend them or send them home if Dolan won't let you buy them out.

Bonn we gotta give to receive.....good young two way players? Only player I can think of on that team is Shawne Williams.....and he's gangsta. He could hitch a ride over with Jermaine. Shawne Williams is a stephen jackson clone.

I didn't say *great*; I said *good*. I'd rather have a young 2 way player who's gonna be nothing more than a 6th or 7th man than JO.
i wouldn't be surprised if we move marbury for jermaine
