The knicks wont win anther game this year. Talk about a sham. Last night they go on a 18-0 run and then take out Lee and Crawford. I hope we get screwed onthe lottery because of how we are playing right now. At least we have found one thing Isiah can do right that is to lose games. Karma is a bitch and how the knicks handle things will continue to bite them in the ass.

Wouldn't it be kinda poetic if the Knicks drop into the 2nd or 3rd worst record in the league only to see the 5th and 6th worst teams jump ahead of them in the lottery.

I laughed when I saw the title. Still......the Knicks do need to be contracted if that's possible. Like Charlotte moved to New Orleans and then a new team came in.....

I guess you just can't do that. Dolan is the owner and he can do what he wants., but sheesh. Knicks need a "reset" button for real.

king, what is this guy telling them in timeouts and before games? I've never seen a more disinterested sham of coaching in my life. It's one thing to tank, but this guy looks like he walked away from the team 2 months ago.

This is the problem with Dolan's approach to letting lame duck coaches flap in the wind. If he fires Isiah and hands over coaching on an interim basis to an assistant at least the coach has some vested interest in player development, but as things stand with Isiah, he seems to be coaching from spite.

The Knicks will win another game this year. They're playing the Heat next week. Riley already has trained his players for the ultimate tank job.

Isiah will win again because his job is to lose now. When his job was to win he could muster only 19 victories. Now there is a pretense that he and his team could win if he put his starters out there. However, they only won 19 games all year. Isiah doesn't have to try to lose. As a coach/gm it is second nature to him.

I wonder what would be Isiah's reaction if the bench players actually win a game. He probably would start throwing chairs in the the lockroom and forcing the players to listen his extend versions of his west side of Chicago story's.

yeah, that type of strategy really bit those Spurs in the butt when they nabbed Tim Duncan in the draft & went on to win 4 championships.

The players DO NOT want to tank...the fans do! If any player in this league doesn't want to win, they should look for a new line of work. Players could care less about a lottery pick. If I am Lee or JC and I busted my ass all year, regardless of the record, I would be pissed that I have to sit there and watch the games slip away.

Isiah is tanking in a way that is ridiculous. Plus its a detriment to the younger players because essentially, he is saying to them, "I am putting you in to LOSE...the only reason why you are playing is because we are going no where." Also, you want to play them with guys who have some experience that can help them out. Whether it be Jamal or Dave or even Malik...playing ALL of the young guys at once accomplishes NOTHING.

Players get paid millions of $ from fans--don't the players want the best for the fans? The best interest of the team LONG term is what is most important. What players want at this point is selfish--if they wanted to win so bad they shouldve thought about that 60 games ago.

King 1--it makes no sense to let guys who havent played all year get consistent minutes so the Knicks can evaluate what they have? Why make Lee Crawford and Randolph play 40 minutes right now--to possible get hurt? JC especially---his shouylder hasnt healed and Lee is coming off surgery last year--no need to press them--need to see what younger players can do


The Knicks have TRIED to win--if you want to make an issue with a team --go look at the USBL roster Miami has.

I think that the young guys get ZERO positive reinforcement from playing because they have ZERO shot to win. And they know it!

Yeah, the players get paid alot of $ to play but they aren't!

Briggs...Isiah is responsible for the majority of the adversity surrounding this team. Everything is not necessarily their fault. Especially David and Jamal!

My point was, in regard to King, was that players want to PLAY, not to sit and watch...they are not thinking about the lottery...they could care less. Of course I agree that this team needs an upgrade in talent vis a vis the lottery. DESPERATELY. When you watch the younger players on this team and you see them play teams like Memphis or tonight, Minny, there is a significant difference in the talent level.

Isiah is not only a horrific GM, his coaching approach is equally as deplorable. His management of young players is awful as well.

I agree 150% that this garbage Zekey is pulling will not help us at all...BAD KARMA is right. Everything Isiah does turns to shizz. Plus, TANKING (see Boston and Memphis last year) does not mean you get a higher pick, just more lotto balls. This team is going to need the "frozen envelope."

Isiah continues to affirm a losing culture here by alienating players that played for him all year and basically saying to the young guys, "go out and lose."

Everyone involved with the NBA should love and respect the game first and foremost I SAY UGH is doing the exact type of tank job I despise. You don't dummy up the game by doing obvious and highly questionable things. This team is a DISGRACE and I SAY UGH is the worst person possibly in all of sports.

Lets be real here, we have been complaining about being a middle of the pack, not good enough team to compete but not good enough to get a high pick team for years.

Now we are finally doing the right thing.

SA tanked big time the yea Robinson was hurt to get Duncan. Now they are the most respected organization in the league.

Rockets benched that big guy who used to shoot real well to tank so they could get Hakim back in the day. I forget his name, but he was the predecessor of all the Euro shooting big men, and he was American, too.

Cavs tanked to get Bron, now they are golden.

The way the system is set up, you must tank to get out of being a middle of the pack crappy team.

If IT ensures a top 3 pick position, regardless of the bounce of the balls, this will be the first good move he has done with his tenure with the Knick.

So tank, tank, tank away!!!
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?
