'Kenny George'!!! If we can condition those knees of his, then he'd be the only defense we'll need. He weighs 236 pounds, enough to move anyone in the NBA and has a wing span of (ncredible) 101 inches. That's about eight and one half feet wide. Do you think it would be worth a try?

I'll never trust this' team again.

Gheorghe Mureşan part deux - doubt he goes high and I suspect he would do no better than manute bol in terms of career - yes, he will block shots, but he probably is too slow to play strong defense and rebound.

if the NBA changes it's rules to only play on a half court, then i'd be all for that idea.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

I can see him at the end of some of our games, coming in and just staying in the middle, making sure no one comes in to score. If we get two drafts next year, and if you think he's gonna go low, then I say we pick him up mainly for defensive purposes. Bol was a pole. He couldn't block out very well or position himself. This guys weighs 365 pounds of un-movale rock.

If we can draft a midget, trade for a double cheesburger and sign a triple cheeseburger, then I say why not??? Especially if his knees improve and he can get down quicker. I know it defeats the purpose of us becoming a faster team, but man' how can anyone pass up that size?

Nobody knows how old he is. He could be ten years old and still developing, for all we know.
I'll never trust this' team again.

What if he can grow to 8'2"?
Fast midget Nate and long slow skinny... this will be funny.

I'll let you know next year after the first 10-15 games on whether to tank next year or not.

By tank do you mean lose 10 more games than we did this season?

Why tank when we can win 19 games and get the #7 or #8 pick consistently? Oh wait that must be the logic Isiah is using now.

I say Tank, its not like this team is going to be much better.

That Hansborough dunk on him was awesome!

Seriously, at only 236 and he's 7-7? Big George was over 3 bills. Mark Eaton was 7-3, 275.
Ewing was 7-0, 250. Mourning was 6-10, 260. This kid is undersized weight wise to play center. I guess at least his weight makes it easier on his knees.

Hell, FYI, Paul Pierce is 6-7, 235.

c'mon, let's not get silly

4949 - after watching George play, all one can hope is that his body does not collapse from the unusual build. It is not a risk worth taking on a player who moves slower than an hourglass
and makes Gheorghe Muresan look like Amare Stoudamire

besides, "tanking" is never cool. never. ever.

He's 365lbs.

Also, with the exception of Yao, overly tall guys don't generally do all that great in the NBA anyway.

Eh...I only draft this guy in the early 2nd round. This is a gamble the Knicks can take.
