Dolan is an idiot, and he might keep him. I just don't see that happening. But a lot of the threads talk about Isiah being around making moves over the summer. Wondering if there is a consensus one way or the other.
Dolan loves Isiah and will keep him around
Isiah is finished this summer

As a realist, I said he'll stay, based on him still being here, after all of the pain and embarrassment he's caused us all.

But as a wisher? I hope to God he's gone before our next draft. Pleeeaaaaaaaaaassssee!
I'll never trust this' team again.

I just dont think he can possibly be back, but that's using common sense and Dolan lacks any, if all, common sense.

I don't think it's so much that as that Little Jimmy is defiant, ignorant and arrogant.

That's exactly what I used to think after each disaster, but I learned not to fall for that one anymore.

But I think after this season, even dolan seems to have woken up to reality.

The news reported Dolan & Mills met with Isiah, and afterward, the kids started to play a bit more.

That meeting went one of two ways:

Dolan to Isiah: "There is nothing you can do to save your job, play the kids"

Or

Dolan to Isiah: "The season is finished, your safe, play the kids"

Since then, it seems to me that Isiah has been super gloomy on the bench. I think perhaps Dolan told him that he is basically a goner.

But then this has dragged on for four years, and it should have ended last year.

i think he'll be retained as coach (& maybe even as GM in title) but someone else will be brought in to make all the personnel decisions.

I think Dolan is going to make him President of Madison Square Garden next year. And an added title of President of Public Relations, so people see the side of Isiah James sees when theyre in private.

So he will be GM/Coach/President of Madison Square Garden/President of Public Relations...
Nice cost saving strategy.

Isiah isn't going anywhere. 16th sellout of the season tonight reported at the Garden. I find all these people a joke. If you're going there and you boo them when they lose and cheer like maniacs when they're within 3 points or something, then boo yourself for going there in the first place.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Well....personally I don't see how he could possibly be back after the disaster this season has been. But then again, I thought he would be gone a long time ago.

My prediction is that he'll fire Isiah this summer and replace him with another GM who won't do any more rebuilding than Isiah or Layden did. I sure hope I'm wrong (on the rebuilding part), though!

Isiah is done.

Yeah, I know, Dolan "loves the guy".

Well he loved Layden, Chaney, Houston, Ward and Kurt too, yet he let Isiah throw them under the bus.

It's time for Isiah to pay the piper.

Hit the road, Jack. Don't 'cha come back no more, no more...
