Good news, Nate Robinson racked up a career-high 45 points. Bad news, the undermanned Knicks lost to Portland in overtime for their sixth straight defeat to complete an 0-4 homestand.

Worst news, Eddy Curry's season could be over.

Curry sat out last night's 120-114 overtime Garden loss to the Blazers with a swollen knee, did not travel with the team last night to Dallas and is having an MRI today to determine if he has structural damage that could end his already busted season.

Oh, yes, things can still get worse for Team Titanic II, which dropped 27 games below .500 at 18-45.

The club may decide to be extra-cautious with Curry since the playoffs are no longer realistic. If Curry is done, the chances of this squad becoming the first Knick team to post 60 losses is genuine.

"At this point, I'm not too worried," said Curry. "I don't believe it's going to be career threatening."

Curry hurt the knee in the second quarter Friday night vs. the Pistons after an 18-point half. He said he was running downcourt when someone got in his way.

Us fans don't give a **** anymore.

Great; if Curry's out, we'll probably win more games and get a worse pick.

Miller was actually getting playing time with Phoenix during critical stretches of the Suns' playoffs runs in the 90s.

Otherwise, he'll make the Jerome James club.

Knicks are in their annual "Shut it down" Mode. Time to sit anybody with any type of aches so they can pretend that injuries were largely to blame for their record. Now they can pretend that Isiah gave the younger players the PT they needed in order to give hope for next year. It's all about appearances, especially for Dolan's sake.

All anybody needs to know is that they're 22-60 since Dolan gave Isiah that extension. That's worse than Larry Brown when they argued he was doing nothing but sabotaging the team. I'm really getting tired of this ****.

I would like to see this team play a little better for the rest of the season to have something to build on. I hate to lose the draft position, but you aren't necessarily going to get a better player by having a better pick, as there is a lot of luck in drafting.

Eddy Curry needs to be healthy so Isiah cannot invoke the injury excuse.

I think dolan has already made up his mind about isiah. I don't think any more of Isiah's excuses are going to help him any. Isiah might stay because dolan has already decided this, but I don't think anthing that will happen will enter into his decision.

Dolan is either punishing Isiah right now and trying to get more bang for his buck or he is a total lunatic.
