They all say that Dolan is very gruff and intimidating but used to think the world of Isiah and he was the only person who had Dolan's undivided attention. Now, Dolan does not speak to him, not even in jest.

Dolan has money to burn and he is not firing Isiah to shame, embarass and completely ruin his chances of ever getting another NBA job.

MSG is still making money and selling out and concessions are better than ever you would have to be drunk to take in a Knicks game). Isiah was red lighted from making any moves. No fines or suspensions are handed out for player insubordination and we are stuck with Zach Randolph who is going to start to be the old Zach very soon. Dolan loves it.

Don't be surprised if the Knicks make the headlines for non basketball stuff in weeks to come. You just don't lose by 40 or more in the NBA and definitely not to Philly.

The Knicks have the NBA's record for lopsided losses this season. At this rate, Larry Brown is going to have a better Knick record than Isiah will. Stephon is at home laughing and could care less.

Isiah is a dead man walking and Dolan is having too much fun at his expense. The message is clear, "You made your bed, lie in it". We will get a lottery pick this year and Isiah will get escorted out of MSG by security on the season's last game at MSG to humiliate him even more.

He will never, ever work for an NBA franchise again.

Think of how many Larry Brown advocates must be skinnin' and grinnin' right now.

AIGHT LATE
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Dolan's an even bigger idiot than Isiah is if he's going to carry over his personal agendas to shame & ruin someone's life when his best interest should be singly focused on what's best for his franchise... Isiah should have been fired years ago.

"A friend who has a friend"? C'mon. Hearsay stuff like that isn't news. Your friend could be believable but who the heck knows about your friends' friend.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

You say Dolan doesen't speak to Isiah, but it was just reported that they spoke this past Friday. Not to mention the many times Dolan was seen laughing it up with Isiah in the halls of MSG after blow out losses.

I would not be surprised to see IT get another season. Dolan owes him alot of money and IT should be able to make a splashy trade this summer with the expiring deals of Marbury and Rose. If we get the number 1-2 pick in the draft, that might be enough positive buzz for IT to escape the ax for yet another year.

All that makes sense only if Dolan fires Isiah after this season. I can understand why he wouldn't fire him during the year. It gives Isiah one last chance to prove he's making progress, hence Isiah's continued playoff talk, and there's no sense paying someone else to do a job that Isiah got a big extension to do, in a lost year.

Also Dolan is the type of miserable human being who thrives on hanging people out to dry for making him look foolish. Isiah has made Dolan look extremely bad by getting him involved in the sexual harassment episode, costing Dolan $3M out of his own pocket, and for making the Knicks the biggest joke in all of sports, before and especially after Dolan publicly supported Isiah with that contract extension.

Having said all that, Dolan is so stupid, he may not fire Isiah after this season because it's so important for him to prove that he was right. At this point I'll say it's 60/40 that he fires Isiah after this season.

There's no way Dolan goes for another round of "Fire Isiah" on draft night, when they're trying to pump up hope for next season and sell season tickets.

Seriously, the fans doing the Wave at MSG was probably half the reason Isiah got the extension and, let's face it, fan support for Isiah is long passed.

Dolan was fooled, he's believed we were championship caliber since as far back as 2004, but this catastrophe must be obvious to even a fool like him. IMO, Dolan is just lining up his ducks before the guillotine falls at season's end.

Maybe Isiah will sexually harass someone else in a last grasp to save his job.

I met some random NBA dude at a bar while watching the Knicks v. Raptors last Friday. He said that only Lee and Crawford are likely to stay. We were drunk so I don't know if he was real but he said no way Isiah is with the Knicks next season. He said someone high up in the commissioners office finally got through to Dolan and will recommend the next Knicks GM.

He was just trying to pick you up by whispering sweet nothings about the Knicks in your ear.

Was he successful?

Hey be nice We all have bumped into 'random NBA' guys who know EXC+ACTLY what the commisioner and the Knicks are going to do. Geez - just the other day - I ran into Jay Z's business manager who told me Le Bron is defiitely on the Nets- and that he is going to be a model for Jay Z'z clothing line.
This is NY - we run into all sorts of inside information-- better Reconize .
