Not to break cahones TMS but your are the kind of fan who is going to cheer the move and there will be others as well. If we get something like Oneal Murphy and Artest you are going to be praising the dude.

oh, did i strike a nerve BRIGGS? not sure where the hell that comes from but i've been very vocal about not wanting Isiah to trade that pick for anything less than a franchise calibre player... unless that guy is Kobe, Lebron or someone of that nature, um, no BRIGGS, you're wrong.

if we get an O'Neal or Artest for a package w/o giving up that pick or D Lee, ur damn right i'm gonna be cheering the move... btw, u r the last one to talk about the "type of fans" that would cheer starphuch type moves when if my memory serves you were all over these forums a while back very vocally in favor of going after guys like Miles & Rahim, & oh yeah, didn't you also like that Steve Francis trade?

So you'd be celebrating trading Marbury's expiring contract for those players instead of simply letting his huge deal come off the cap?

probably not for O'Neal, i'd prefer to let Marbury's contract come off the books... i think i've suggested the types of trades i'd be in favor of to get an O'Neal... Zach & filler is probably the way i'd try to go.

for Artest, i'd be fine w/giving up Marbury for him since his contract is an expiring too... we're looking at signing him anyway longterm whether we trade for him or not, u can bet on that... & i like Brad Miller as a player, always have even back to the days at MSG, but if he's coming along in the deal we'd have to be giving up 1 of our bad deals, like a Jefferies, Q, Curry or Turd.

Do you really need one more bad decision to come to that conclusion?

Well keeping Isiah would be the ultimate slap in the face so yes I would.

If Dolan keeps Isiah, then yes- its time to start questioning the deep seated emotional loyalty to the knicks, and I think I will really begin to move away from being an active knick fan, and see about adopting some other team to follow.

I can't understand when posters (not singling anyone out) say, "if one more bad decision, one more bad trade, etc.) happens, I'm done." That's what's gone on all decade. If you're not done now, you'll be someone who always says "just one more bad decision and..."

There is a critical mass of bad decisions when the breaking point comes.
It is different for each fan.
Some are gone already; some will stay with the team regardless, and some are close to fall out.
There are a lot of empty arenas in NBA cities and Garden is mostly occupied by corporate seats (empty) and Big Apple tourists.
This place lucks passion which was the main thing associated with Knicks.
This organization is dead and keeping Isiah and Co is same as keep brain-dead man on life support.

Stepon Marbury and a future #1 for Mike Miller/Lowry and Cardinals contract
Draft Pick on a young Guard

O'Neal/James
Lee/Rose
Artest/Q/Chandler
Miller/Nate
Crawford/Lowry

I don't think this a bad team especially with O'Neal, Artest, Lowry defending and a good mix of shooters, defenders, etc.

And no expectations that this is THE PRODUCT. Just the starting point.
