He's about 29 or 30. At his peak he was better than Curry is now. I don't know why the guy has fallen off so steeply from being a 2 time all-star. He just seems to be a victim of circumstance getting traded to teams that have young big men they are building around.

An offer to finish out the year see what he has, maybe lock up he position a bit.

He is a million times better than Curry. The only problem I see by signing him is that we really may win a lot of more games with him, so we would have a worse pick...
But talking about improving the roster, a healthy Magloire would make us better, no doubt about it.

I wouldn't mind Magloire, but not sure why he would come here. If he did, I think he would make a solid backup or spot starter. He's definitely an improvement over Jerome James, at any rate.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

the question is: would Magloire consider signing here?

one of the newsday bloggers today wrote that Isiah might be prohobited from making any signings for the rest of the year... lordy, i hope that's true.

He would give us an inside presence, def/off rebounder without a need to hog the ball.
I can easily see Curry gone before next season....hopefully J. James also.

At no point in his career was he ever better than Curry -atleast offensively. He basically averaged 8.5 rebounds a game with around 30minutes of play and 1 block. Not a bad player or nothing - but when you already have Randolph Morris, Jerome James, Zach Randolph and David Lee- I don't see why give up a roster spot for McGloire.

The double negative makes it true; I agree.

There is no point, Magloire will be picked up by another team shortly. We have no roster spot.

Maglore is done, he doesn't have the motivation anymore.

He's only playing because someone will still pay him money for being 6"11 and able to give his team6 fouls in emergency situations.
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

why--do you see evidence that we will make a play for the 8th seed 7.5 games back with 26 to go? I mean it's nevere been done in the NBA before? Jamal Magliore will change the Knicks fortunes?

Maglore= Vin Baker, Jerome james, Ike Austin, Mo Taylor, etc......

Big guys that lose it as the body matures and hurts. It happens, nice guys im sure, but we don't need him here. he solves nothing.

if Isiah signs him, it'll be on a full MLE contract... if some other team signs him, it'll be on a veteran's minimum 1 year deal.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

For the life of me I can't understand why Randolph Morris doesn't get the burn first before getting a guy like Magloire. But you know that IT will go out and get a Magloire and think all his problems are solved. Rediculous.... On a team like the Suns you can understand why guys like Wilson Chandler, Randolph Morris or a Mardy Collins wouldn't get any playing time but our rookies not getting any time on our pathetic team?????????? Inexcuseable.

After Randolph Morris got busted for DWI down south, Zeke hasn't given him the time of day.
