Kickass. And they said snow days were just for the kids.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

You were going to have to drive to Jersey? For work? What do you do?

I'm noticing a pattern with Jersey. When there's 1-2 inches of snow: the plows are out and they get everything. Anything more than that and no plows.

I'm in marketing and work in Elmwood Park NJ, it usually takes a blizzard to close the office. No plans to work from home either since my boss is stuck on a plane coming from Chicago.

Cool cool. It's nice to get an unexpected day off, isn't it?

Old ladies should be the ones shoveling.

Actually, I'm going to stay in. Have some studying to do for some homework that's due Sunday afternoon (I'm going for another degree), so I can get an early/more relaxed start.

Going back to sleep after watching the morning show, wake up a bit later play Madden or Forza 2 for bit I haven't played for a while. Just to think a week ago I would have been laughing at your candy asses from sunny California

maybe when you get there there will be a nice brush fire! That, or an earthquake.

I haven't been to socal in about two years- but its a nice place- the only thing I was not crazy about was the highways during rush hour- I remember missing a few exits off the 405 during the 'orange crush'- I was doing 85 in the HOV lane, and needed to merge into parked cars. Not fun.

You pansies should be ashamed of yourself. There's nothing like a good old fashioned American worker doing what he does to work for his hard earned paycheck and you talk like a snowday is a good day for you. I'll tell you sissies what: I F'ing love work and it is one of my hobbies. Heck, I love work more than I love Isiah Thomas and James Dolan too. That speaks volumes. I can't wait to go to work today, and maybe even leave an hour or 2 late, kind of like how I worked 12 hours last night and came home 2 and a half hours late.

I hope you fookers get iced into your houses.

I have no snow days. I work from home if I can't get to work. Ahhh...the pros and cons of the ability to work from home.

Well, as you know I live in West Caldwell, just like you. I'm not sure if you know where Roseland is, but I work right by Eagle Rock Ave. Yeah it was a crappy drive, the roads aren't plowed at all. I don't know what they are waiting for in these towns.

I live in Caldwell, not West Caldwell, technically (by a few blocks). I haven't stepped outside, so I couldn't see if Bloomfield was plowed. My ave isn't. I've been through Roseland before.

It's definitely weird how the plows just aren't out. Makes no sense.

I work in Edison and most of my office decided to not brave the roads today. Can't blame em. I don't know why I came in.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Headquarters for my company(Mack-Cali) is in Edison, my manager told me alot of them are out of the office as well. I'm sure the CEO isn't in, but does he care about anyone else braving the roads? Nope.
