I know some people want trades, buy-outs, firings, etc.

The BEST thing that happened today is that NOTHING happened.

I understand people say "why couldn't we get Gerald Green" or "why could this GM do that and Isiah can't?" BLAH BLAH BLAH.

Vince, T-Mac, JO are injury riddled and on this team, we should EXPECT the worst, like career-ending issues a la H20.

Though smaller deals like Gerald Green seems like a steal or Von Wafer for Taurean Green (per Hahn's blog), they are not going to really, REALLY help us.

The REAL deadline is in April, when we finally can say "good riddance" to a man that will never EVER be able to walk on the streets in NY again...Isiah Lord Thomas III.

Still too early to say we didn't make a move.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

Something can still be in the works. This isn't over yet so let's not celebrate.

I have a friend who works for the Knicks. I think we're in the clear and no trades have or will be made.

Sigh of relief

I would have liked the Eddy Curry for J.Williams to have gone down. that would have been a great trade for both teams.

This was a catch-22 for Isiah.

On the one hand, we don't want him to make trades, because he's incapable of making a good trade that benefits the Knicks.
On the other hand, there were a lot of opportunities to improve the Knicks situation avaialable at the trade deadline. This would be wonderful, if anyone had any faith in Isiah making a good trade.

As such, he had almost no chance to avoid getting bashed this trade deadline. Unfortunately, it's completely fair criticism, since all of this is due to his own incompetence.

Why should we be happy? We just wasted an opportunity to pawn off some of our garbage and either lower our cap situation or get young players or draft picks. All because we have a lame GM who the owner doesn't even trust at this point. Get that ******* out of here and get someone who can clean up his mess. The sooner the better, before we waste even more opportunities.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

It's evidence Isiah is done here. You know the players have quit on him, and no coach wants players who wont play for them.

He's being made to sleep in his own shti, as well he should. Hopefully Grunwald is maneuvering behind his back and undermining his influence with the players too.
