First game with Kidd no longer a Net:

25pts on 9-18 shooting, 4 rebs, 4 asts, 2 stls, 1 block and 5 TO's.

Not bad. Hopefully he gets some solid playing time behind Devin Harris.

So let me see, a PG who takes 18 shots?! with a .8-1 ast-TO ratio. Is this a good thing?

Maybe he'll grow up to be Steve Francis.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

doesn't impress me that much. We know now that he's a undersized SG. I thought he was going to be a great PG with amazing court vision. 4 asts and 5 TO? His instincts seem to be to shoot. We'll see, maybe he'll learn.

he needs to get that A/TO ratio up if he wants to be the regular starting PG for his team.

Yeah, the Nets are so impressed by Marcus Williams that they traded for a Devin Harris, an inconsistent PG who will instantly start in front of Williams and play 3 times as much as he the second his ankle is healed.

Rod Thorn definitely thinks Williams is the Nets future starting PG...uh-huh!

Jeez, if you are so impressed by Marcus Williams' second good game this season, you should be posting Nate Robinson nut-hugging threads twice a week.

Bunch a' nut-huggers.

oohah

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

lol, u know i was gonna mention something along those lines before, but since u mentioned it oohah, i agree... Nate's posted up statlines like that on multiple occasions & yet when anyone ever gets excited over that type of game they get hammered on by the usual suspects.

Speaking of "nut-huggers", how's Channing Frye doing?

It's sad that the Nets backup point is already a more useful player than most of the guys on our team.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

In Oohah's world, the Knicks are a .500 team this season and everything is going according to plan.

Williams just needs some consistent time thus far Opie hasn't really allowed him to grow into his position.

OOhah is high on Dominic James who has regressed Y_Y @ Marquette into a potential draft pick in the Scandanavian League. I think he takes on inner pain when M Williams has a good game for soem reason. ohhah did he steal your daughters laptop?

No, just his anatomically correct Channing Frye blow up doll.

Actually I like Dominic James too. . I think he can be pretty good, and think he's a guy that's flying under people's radar. But the PG that I like the most in college right now that no one talks about is Maryland PG, Grievous Vasquez. I think he's one of the best point guards I've seen play in college this year.

Anyway the Jury is still out on Marcus Williams. He's got the talent but technically so does everyone (in the league). The thing that turns me off about Marcus is that he seems like more of a shoot first PG. but obviously he can still be a good player despite that. I can't tell just yet. It's too early. As other people have hinted towards, 1 good game isn't a good indication of anything one way or the other.
