What kind of management style is this you incompetent midget? Spend more money in the last 5 years than anyone has ever spent in the NBA in the same time frame and accept pirse poor results for the paying customers and millions of fans. The owner should be the leading *advocate8 for the fan idiot. Take off your Napoleon hat and rectify your blunders. You are the person who is ultimately responsible for giving IT an extension when nothing substantive was achieved. Don't hold the fans hostage stooge meister--the fans have been supportive of this. Give something back to the fans you self-serving spoon fed little man.

Yeah, at least come out and just say Isiah Thomas is your guy now and in the future so we can all plan our escape.

Here's a tough question I pose to all of you:

Who would do a better job running the Knicks; George Bush or Jimmy "Guitar Hero" D

I really don't know what to say. You know what, forget I even asked. I think i might barf at anyone defending any of them

Their is a point of no return in terms of how we evaluate Isiah Thomas--the coaches and anyone associated with the group. They have failed--there is no other conclusion. Dolan has thrown bad money at bad money time over with this group and there is no cognitive plan in place. The only cogent rectifcation is to clean out the management group--there is no other option. Any person who owns/operates an entity like the Knicks has a fiduciary responsibilty to literally millions of paying customers. The Knicks charge top dollar--the Knicks have a top payroll--and the return to the paying fan is at a clear bottom level--they have to clear house and start over with a new direction. Jim Dolan is the ONLY person responsible right now. Isiah Thomas--the players--it's old news---I don't blame them--they have simply failed.

I think Dolan has some gigs with his band "The Straight Shot". I think they are doing a European Tour.

I'm sure that as soon as the tour is over, he'll be back to take care of the Knicks.

You guys just don't understand Jimmy Dolan. He's an artist.

Cablevision shareholders should be pressuring him. Sports is a business, and this one is being horribly run. If they are inept with the Knicks, to me, that opens their judgments and performances on every other business they have- the cable tv, internet, MSG & Radio City Music Hall.

I boo IT during the starting lineup and politely applaud our starters. I cheer when I see a good play. I cheer when I see heart and hustle and passion. I spend the rest of my time waiting for the perfect moment to start a "Fire Isiah" chant.

Nah. You go to a game to have fun. You want to cheer and support your team--even in the darkest hours. And booing is very fair[although I have never done it in my life] when a team is going sour---that's how sport competition is. My personal point on the thread is that it's to the point where the fan experience is not being taken into consideration by the person who has the ultimate responsibilty to those fans. I understand Dolan may not understand basketball, but he must be smart enough to realize this management tenure has failed miserably and there is irrevocable damage. It's not fair nor is it good business if Dolan is just letting this go to make IT earn his money. James Dolan signed the contract extension when there was no justification to do so--that's on him--that's not on Isiah--the players or the fans. This should have been over after the Anucha gig yet he let it go further and right now it's a cesspool. He OWES it to the fans to finish this. I have heard Dolan use the word character. I don't see it in him--I don't see it in Isiah and all the way down. It's turned into a situation where the fans of the Knicks also hate the Knicks. That has got to change--it has to change SOON.

After speaking at the NBA's technology summit, Garden CEO Jim Dolan refused to address the media about the Knicks' current state or about Isiah Thomas. When asked when he will comment, Dolan's only response was, "It's going to be awhile."
