Pheonix is on top, yet they felt the need to trade Marion for Shaq.

Miami makes a decision to ignore the draft and pick up a major NBA talent in Marion. They also pick up a young hungry point guard, essentially guarentee that they won't get the #1 pick.

Utah trades for Korver....Philly gets their cap relief.

Lakers goes for it with the Gasol trade, while Memphis declares war on the #1 pick in the draft. They also get cap relief in trading for Collins.

Spurs pick up Damon when they reall don't need him.

Knicks need to make a decision IMHO. They need to decide whether or not they are serious about making the playoffs this year. They need to at least prepare for next year. Prepare for the draft? Trade for picks, young dudes and cap relief? Or do like miami and pick up some guys that will simply impove the team for next year.

I think that doing nothing is the worst thing Isiah can do. Everyday he waits another player comes off the market. Isiah needs to wake up.

Other than moving a contract for an additional draft pick or expiring contract (Similar to Memphis) I think Isiah should do nothing. Doing nothing means no more harm. His last few trades have wrecked an already fractured team.

Spurs actually do need Damon with Tony's health being questionable and the backup pg being subpar.

I do hope the knicks don't make a move until Walsh or Colangelo are hired. Please no panic moves by the current regime.

This is what we have become..........desperate fans. I agree and we all agree at this point.

There has to be a process of progression. Isiah has said that you can't rebuild in NY. Why cuz of the losing? Its crazy bro.

Somebody needs to do something. This is some bull****.

KNicks need to figure out if they are making a major run at mediocrity.

Isiah should figure out when it is time to run... out of town...

I'm using the trade deadline as a barometer of Isiah's job status. If he's allowed to make a trade he'll be here next year. If not it's adios.

You could use what you said as a barometer of Dolan's sanity. If Isiah is allowed to make a trade, Dolan is insane, well more insane than we previously thought.

yeah, he can afford to miss the trade deadline and i hope he does. if they trade anybody it should be zach randolph for expiring contracts. let thomas wallow in his mess. then give him the hook.

Little Jimmy isn't crazy - he's dumb and/or ignorant. There's a difference.

Its not about isiah guys.....

ITS ABOUT US!

Dolan needs to contact us here @ UK and organize a huge war room meeting with the fans here.

Im so serious! Let Isiah keep his position as the face of garbage since his pride won't allow him to quit.

Between all of us here we can work phones and debate trades and roster decisions from now until Isiah's contract is up!

This is some bull****.

Isiah is a horrible coach and GM. He also can't run an organization. Why pay him? Why pay another? We care more about the Knicks and basketball than any big named retard.

Isiah didn't graduate from College did he? Did he work his way up the ranks in any organization? No!

A group of child molesters, perverts, drunks, drugies and losers can surely do a better job than Isiah.

Why? What transaction has Isiah made that ended up working out in the end? The best thing he can do is othing so he can no longer harm our franchise.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Ok so everyone says he should do nothing?

So what happens in the draft? He's gonna have to draft someone. This bastard my go ahead and find a way to get a Nene or Frye or Kwame.....the Knicks are trying hard to win but still are losing terribly.

If isiah gets any pick 1-10......I gurantee this guys luck will get us the Fred Weis of the entire draft.

Why won't dolan just fire him? He's not so even if Isiah does nothing he still has to draft!

Calgon take us away!

this is another mistake from dolan. Isiah and mills need to be shown the door now. Let another GM like west or colangelo come in here before the trade deadline, and given a chance to try to move some of this junk.... Actually, Isiah should have been fired a month ago, so another GM could do a fair analysis of the players on this team, before the trade deadline..

thomas doesn't draft bad he has many faults but the draft is not one
if we get a good pick we should allow him to keep his job atleast for the draft
hopefully we get a pg or jordan/beasley

How can you say IT has done a good job in the draft.
Channing Frye at number 8th soft and was trade after a year.
Nate was a nice pick and Lee was a good pick at 30.
Collins and Chandler both busts while Balkman was drafted way too high. He will take a Mayo talented but a head case over a gordon or rose. IT would f&^k up a junk yard.

I think the real question can NBA GM's afford to ignore Isiah Thomas at the deadline?
