I would do this type of deal.

Curry is the deal killer though. You'd have to replace Curry with Crawford and maybe Seattle bites.

i'm on a miami kick today...

let's say heat trade jwill + ricky for wally.

then on draft night, trade mark blount + udonis haslem + miami's #1 (lottery) + future pick for miller/dalembert.

your starting 5 next year is dre, wade, wally, marion, dalembert...

Why is Curry a deal Killer? He's young, he's better than any center prospect they have on their roster and he is only under contract 2 more years or so. Durant and Nate would give more than enough outside support and T and Wilcox are exactly the type of guys you want to put next to Curry.

I don't think PJ Carlisimo would want a dumb-ass, lazy, fat C like the one dimensional Curry, but if he did, I would hope to get a guy like Johan Petro back. They would have 4 young centers including Curry if the originally proposed deal went down.

I think talent wise that is not good for us. I would need Petro or Sene at least for that deal to happen for my liking.

thats a terrible deal
why is it people want to trade curry and not get a center back
that makes no sense he's young and a true center
he doesn't rebound for sht but he is a center

I'm with Holfresh. The best thing this team can do is stop building on top of the current mess and start anew.
I just hope that people will like me

The only reason I'd take Wally is if we trade them Jamal and other crap with longer deals. Other than that, no.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Wally will be ready to retire by the time the Knicks are a .500 team. I thought he had retired actually...I hadn't heard anything about him in about 5 years!

Thats why Miami is Miami and the Knicks are the Knicks......

Pat Riley would make the move and not blink. That line-up could win big time under riles.

Because both players are more well rounded and and not the carbon copied SF/SG's we already have on the roster.

No Holfresh is with YOU and everyone else, who has been saying this for the past 2-3 years and inturn getting lambasted by guys like him for saying it.

initially i looked at this deal and said hell no

wally doesn't exactly get it done defensively..

but if you look at the contract lengths i might do it for that alone

Wally comes off the books after next season..Curry has a few more years..
Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please
