Is Isiah being relieved of his head coaching duties enough?

Would you be happy and satisfied if Isiah is removed from the bench but remains the Team President and GM? Dolan and the Knicks screw up everything they touch so it shouldn't surprise anybody if they **** this up too.
Getting a new coach and having Isiah be GM is enough for me.
Isiah needs to get the hell out of here completely before I start caring again.
I still think Isiah needs more time as the head coach and GM to pour the cement..
I just don't care anymore and I've switched allegiances to a new team.

No.

He needs to be relieved of his president/general manager duties as well.

If Dolan wants to make up some bullcrap title for him just to make him work for his money? FINE.

However, remove him from any contact with the players and any decision making be it trades or coaching or anything at all.

Isiah needs to be gone completely. I don't want him making another decision with the Knicks, unless it's a decision on the settlement of the remainder of his contract after he's fired.

Hell no.

Coaching isn't the problem in the 1st place.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Of course not, removing him as coach and not as GM actually makes things worse because then Isiah will be free to hire and fire coaches every season like he was before, and the nightmare will continue.

Isiah needs to be uninvolved in any coaching or managerial decisions because he isn't competent enough to make either well. Personally I want him gone completely but if Dolan wants to keep him around to earn more of his extension with a meaningless role like Cosmic suggested then I'd be ok with that too, but at least that much has to happen for things to change.

no. in fact if I had to pick only one, clearly Isiah the GM has done more damage than Isiah the coach.

YOU FORGOT the other catergory: if isiah is gone do you want to keep the same players
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Do you really think any fan wants this roster? I would be shocked if anyone on this board could name more than 5 players on the team they'd actually want to keep.

I still wish LB were here with a GM who knew what he was doing. WIth that type of tough-nose backdrop I would keep Lee, Nate, Jamal (sixthman), Balk, Chandler. Dang that's not a lot.

Yo man it feels like we are stranded on an island waiting for someone to rescue us.....

Anybody seen nixluva's last rant? He is officially on the darkside now! Lmao!

Man I can't believe this has happened. Im a huge homer and I myself was standing right next to nixluva and I had his back on a lot of fights here. Wow man what a waste that was!

we are all standing side by side just waiting for Dolan to drop the ax on Isiah. Never thought I'd see the day. Everyone is on the darkside.

I suppose its hard to stay positive when every losing streak almost equals your win total for the season.

I would keep:

Lee - He can be a serviceable starter or a nice piece off the bench.
Jamal - I think he's coachable and you can use him as a 6th man when he's on. A Vinnie Johnson type.
Balkman - As an 8th or 9th man to come in for 10-15 a game and let him cause havoc. No basketball to speak of but still useful in spurts.
Chandler - Who the hell knows with him at this point? Can't really judge him.

That's it. How pathetic that after 4 years, spending hundreds of millions of dollars, trading away multiple lottery picks and all this roster turnover, you barely have 1 starter to show for it. It's mindboggling.

I bet even the former CBA owners are laughing at us, that Isiah managed to screw us over more than he did them.

I would add one:

* Isiah and Dolan needs to get out of here before I start caring about the team again.

It's like watching a loved one make mistake after mistake and f up their life. Just a game, I know, but it still hurts.

The new new core: Randle, RJ, IQ. Maybe Mitch. Future pick. Future trade. Future FA.

I'd add Nate to that list, maybe drop chandler off, maybe expand the list to five... because, you're right, who knows with Chandler? As for Nate, I'm not a fan, but he seems to play hard when given the chance.

Nate is a ball hog loser. If Nate is playing a big role, you're not winning. I give him credit for hustling but for a guy with the ball in his hands that often, he doesn't do nearly enough of the other things to help a team win. He's more interested in chucking up shots at record pace, taking as many buzzer beating half court heaves as possible and practicing new dunks, than improving as a player. He's a loser.
