Not only beat them but held the Celtics to just 83 points. Dayum.

LINK
Jason Richardson scored 34 points and grabbed nine rebounds, Gerald Wallace had 15 points and 10 rebounds boards, and the Charlotte Bobcats stunned the Boston Celtics 95-83 for just their fourth loss of the season on Wednesday night.

The loss snapped a nine-game winning streak for Boston (29-4) and spoiled its bid for the fastest start in team history to 30 wins. The 1959-60 Celtics started 30-4 before going on to win the NBA title.

The Bobcats, who entered with an Eastern Conferenece-worst 1-11 road mark, also got 16 points and eight assists from Raymond Felton.

Kevin Garnett led Boston with 24 points and eight rebounds. Paul Pierce scored 13 points on just 4-for-14 shooting.

Cats may not be very good but they always play hard.

Pacers are also up by 10 in Phoenix against the Suns.

Anyone can win on any given night. Even the Bricks.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

How should the Bobcats feel about this victory since Ray didn't play?

Good.

Why? Celtics were 29-3 (i havent checked). With or without Ray that's good. Why? Celtics have won with Ray having some pretty bad games....so...you can't take it away from them just because Ray sat out with a pinched neck nerve leading to a numb shooting hand (as if THATS the injury anyone thought he or any other Celtic would come down with).

Yet, again, you can just as easily apply the well known NBA cliche of any team an beat any team on any given night (when the good team has a horrible night and the bad team has a career night).

No big deal IMO.
However, they WILL need Ray Allen (and paul and kg) to be healthy to complete a miracle season.

I'm just wondering why TKF is inquiring if Ray played.

I guess the point is - if one of the big 3 is out the things are not so rozy.
But this is not a news of any kind anyway.

I was wondering if anyone was going to lessen this victory, like they do when the knicks beat a team without their best player. Regardless of record..

thats all....

KG is their best player and then Pierce.

Anyway, the Cats played last night and whipped the Nets then had to fly into Boston to take on the well rested Celtics. Pretty impressive and STUNNING victory if you ask me. MY Charlotte Bobcats were trailing 33-24 and looked like they were going to get blown out. The C's were rolling and KG was unstoppable. All of a sudden JRich starting hitting shot after shot and then in the second half Raymond Felton came alive after looking horrible on defense the first quarter of the game.

A HUGE decision in this game was when coach Vincent benched Okafor for the entire 4th quarter in favor of Muhammad who was playing well. In the fourth Nazr, JRich, Wallace and Felton put a serious WHOOPIN on the Celtics. KG was soooo frustrated and the Celtics basically fell apart. The Celtics crowd was in stunned disbelief.

And TKF what were you doing while this unbelievably exciting and great game was going on? Oh right, you were watching and rooting on Isiah Thomas and Zach Randolph as they got dumped on yet again at home. Pathetic and a waste of time! You missed one helluva game in Boston.

We say "they were missing so and so" because the Knicks flat out suck an rarely win and when they do it's really in a cheap manner. Bobcats are heaps better than the Knicks and the Celtics destroyed the Knicks by 45. Even without Ray Allen, they are a fantastic team. That was a big upset by the Bobcats and hopefully it does something for their season. I was hoping they'd make the playoffs this year.

I figured so.

So are you saying the Celtics without Ray aren't as good as the Bulls without Deng?

no.. that is what you are saying..

I am wondering how good the celts are going to be, without one of the big three, even if it is the lesser one.. the bobcats did a good job beating them.. you guys are like a bunch of bitter old women, looking for any instant to pile on the knicks.. try getting laid, smoke a good cigar, and follow another team for a while.. usually works for me...

No you're just someone who got overly excited about the 1 victory over the Bulls. You've reverted back to the same ole TKF. You only see fit to pile on when it's according to your liking. Anything outside of this you feel it's over the top.

why does this have to be a Knicks/ vs bobcats thing. I mean are you guys that miserable.... I am sure the celtics missed ray, hell they only scored 80+ points, are you telling me the bobcats are that good? I am happy they beat the celtics, I hate boston.. but lets be real.. the bobcats are not making the playoffs this year....

useless point... the cavs beat the celtics and we beat the cavs by 18.. so what is your point.. again, lets try making some sense. piling on for the sake of piling on becomes foolish. we all know the knicks suck... no need to introduce that into every argument, especially when it is not relevant...

Actually I was thinking WOW Joe Smith and Aaron Gray really have a legit shot to win this game for the Bulls.

actually they didn't. they had to take gray out in cruch time because he was turning the ball over and commiting fouls.. Joe smith always kills the knicks, he has our number.. but I am not suprised, curry and zach can't guard their own shadows.... It is no suprise that every big, good or stiff has great games...... we know that.... but the bulls are bad, there is a reason why they are where they are... so them losing to another bad team in the knicks with or without deng is no suprise..
