Ok we all know All-Star voting overall is a joke. But let's look at the voting so far

Let's keep in mind Curry plays in the largest market and has a greater chance than most players, to have more fans voting for him from his local region. I wanted to know how many faithful Loving New Yorkers are voting for him, thinking although he has no shot at being a top vote getter just maybe he'll get a ton of votes still at his position from the Eastern Conference.

Centers: Dwight Howard (Orl) 1,260,987; Shaquille O'Neal (Mia) 609,597; Rasheed Wallace (Det) 162,792; Ben Wallace (Chi) 146,332; Andrew Bogut (Mil) 132,469; Jermaine O’Neal (Ind) 120,690; Zydrunas Ilgauskas (Clev) 77,350; Emeka Okafor (Cha) 74,269; Zaza Pachulia (Atl) 58,430; EY Curry (NY) 53,084.

ROTFLOL!

Look at everyone in front of him

Ok so I was like he's dead last leading vote getters in the East but what about overall.

Centers: Yao Ming (Hou) 1,077,244; Amaré Stoudemire (Pho) 583,249; Marcus Camby (Den) 221,527; Erick Dampier (Dal) 184,689; Pau Gasol (Mem) 139,254; Mehmet Okur (Utah) 112,434; Tyson Chandler (NO) 98,424; LaMarcus Aldridge (Por) 93,043; Chris Kaman (LAC) 83,516; Andris Biedrins (GS) 81,611.

Biendrins is dead last in the West yet has 30,000 more votes than EY. He's essentially the worst Center listed via votes on the ballot. When you look at the names, quite honestly, I'd take every one of those centers before Curry. The only center I'd be sour on is Shaq and there are a couple power forwards listed but still all holds true here.

We got the wrong ex-Bull center. Should have been TChandler.

Scary, isn't it? Every one of those guys is better than Eddy Curry. :(
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

And why would you want to start restructuring the team again around such a player?

Yep, his 5 pts 4 rebounds and 37% shooting are really inspiring. Lets not be idiots here.

Who cares? What's your point? Is your point merely that there actually IS a center in this league worse than Eddy? What do you get out of making that point--there must be some motivation behind the point?

Someone said/implied Zaza was better than Curry. I'm pointing out that he's not.

A) He's only played 17 games and his minutes have been greatly reduced.
B) If you judge previous season's of Zaza's against Curry today, it's debatable. This says more about Curry than it does about Zaza.

How is this surprising? Knicks fans don't like the Knicks, especially Eddy Curry.

Man, I vomited in my mouth... LaMarcus Aldridge is dominating Curry in the votes department, and the Knicks could have had him PLUS another lotto player. Five minutes with DOlan is all I want.... God damned porcelain veneers!!!

But why were you pointing it out? Why do you care if there is one center in the league worse than Curry?

Hmmm...I think I'm going to leave it as a mystery.
