He must be planning on making a trade. Because he damn sure isn't turning the knicks around as constructed in 2 weeks. And I don't think he beleives that either. So he must be working on a trade.

Making a trade is how I read into it. We all knew that desperation would lead to this. God help us all!

Thomas, the coach and president, was asked the 24 million-dollar question yesterday: As GM, what he would do to the coach?

"That's a better question in a couple of weeks," Thomas said. "Not today, but in a couple weeks, that would be a fair question. We'll see if we can come out of this. If we can't come out of this, then those are fair questions. There's still a lot of basketball left in the season. There is time to turn it around."

he said it would be fair to ask questions about his coaching in a couple of weeks. (i.e. give me more time please)

but i agree that a trade might be in the works. when times are bad, make a deal and regenerate hope in knicks fans. but he has to realize that the amount of rope he gets after each transaction gets shorter and shorter.

He hung himself already. Dolan just refuses to pull him down from the tree.

If Isiah really was trying to get fired and collect the 24mil owed. Why not get fired at least trying to do the right thing. Like compeletly rebuild. Let Chandler play 25 or more mins. See if you can package Curry, Crawford, Richardson, Randolph for lesser talent but shorter deals targeting 2009 when Marbury's contract runs out.

I don't trust his moves anymore. I don't want him to trade or make any changes to this team. Just get rid of him.

Great; so in two weeks we won't have our lottery pick this year but we'll have another EY Curry

Or we'll have Ron Artest and Lee, Balkman, and our unprotected pick this year will be headed to Sacramento

knock on wood. I don't think Isiah is into trading unprotected lottry picks anymore. His last few trades have been. Penny & Ariza for Francis, AD for Jalen Rose and a draft pick. Francis & Frye for Randolph.

I think he will continue his buy low trend. I don't see him giving up a lotto pick unless its for Jermain O'neal.

I think you might be looking at Brad Miller, Bibby and Artest for Lee, Balkman and Curry I really wouldn't be surpised to see something along those line...

If this guy makes another trade, regardless of what it is, I'm done caring.

I've given you 4 years douchebag. You don't deserve 2 weeks.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

Instead of wondering if Isiah is going to make a trade we should just be wondering what numbes Darius and Ron are going to wear.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Isiah pull down the jerseys of Willis Reed and Patrick Ewing for Ron and Darius.

I wonder if it'll be Corey Maggette.

Dlee, Balkman, Malik and a lotto pick for Corey.

Corey was born in Melrose Park, IL. Time to Chicago: 15 minutes.

"I've known Corey for a long-time and hopefully he can help us turn this thing around. I know he can fill it. And he averages six rebounds a game and part of defense is finishing the play with a rebound, so clearly he defends. He's long, athletic, young, he fills a lot of needs we have on this team. No, I'm not worried about having 5 guys in the starting lineup who are used to getting 20 shots a game. What could possibly go wrong. It's about sacrifice and trying to cram square pegs into round holes and trading away our future."
