I checked out your other stuff... I think its good but you need too pay more attention to the details. Obviously, a lot of people like your Sopranos video, but the clips to the song didn't work. You could still hear what the characters were saying and it conflicted with the song. So, pick one. In this case, I would have tried to do a tribute to the Sopranos grabbing the best scenes and trying to essentially tell the Sopranos storyline in 8 - 10:00. The shows great, so why not use all the sound from the show?

Anyways, that's the type of detail the school will look for... and I think if you're interested in it you should get some polish at school. I wouldn't recommend making it your only major, but adding it as a second or as a minor is totally acceptable. Just like NBA prospects, the film crowd gets polish in college.

The Sopranos one was my earlier work. I made that more than a year ago. My Tony Soprano tribute is my best Sopranos tribute if you saw that one.

I understand what you're saying and I've improved in that. The problem with lowering the music(I know the music didn't work. At the time I thought it did) in the Sopranos tribute is that the clips had their own backround music and it wouldn't sound right. I've learned from my mistakes though.

And I'll look into that. Although I like to make them as a hobby and wouldn't want to do much work/tests on this kind of stuff.

As somebody who has the benefit of hindsight with education, study **** that interests you... because if you are actually "studying" stuff that interests you, then it isn't studying. It's just working at getting better at something. If you can find the motivation to perform in a subject matter that interests you, you'll walk out of undergrad with a minimum of 3.5 GPA.

It looks like you have the motivation to this outside of class... so why not credit and A's for work you're already doing? Not to mention there are artistic chicks who put out in those classes
