Isiah is leaving him out of games. He also was rumored to be headed to the bench with Marbury. If Isiah stays you have to think Curry will not be around.

They play so much better with a smaller lineup. Dlee should start next to Zach. Let Jefferies, Balkman and Chandler play a lot more.

QRich needs to be benched, too.

But I bet by Monday Curry and Marbury are back in the starting lineup. That's the problem with having your GM be your coach. The other problem with that is if your GM sucks and isn't a very good coach.

Isiah is a loser. Curry was his prized pickup according to him. He thought Curry was worth 2 lottery picks and said he'd make the trade again if he had to. If he benches him, he should be fired on the spot. That's the ultimate sign of failure as a GM.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.

No, that would mean that Isiah would have to admit screwing the pooch on that trade. Isiah never admits to anything.

I think tonight's benching was done to embarrass Curry in his hometown.

exactly. so to mask his failure as a GM, he's failing as a coach.

Yup, and he's in the same bind with Marbury.

That's a lot of lottery picks to have to explain away.

Honestly, I never thought I'd say this, but I think he's doing worse as a coach than as a GM.

They both suck.

He deserves to be fired independently from both jobs.

If he does wins 23 games this year, does that mean he sabotaged the team?
Or does LB's name get cleared? Can't have it both ways.

I might have to agree on this one. Does he even coach games? Most of the time Coach Eyebrows is sitting down. He only calls timeout when the team is getting blowout.

Honestly, I never thought I'd say this, but I think he's doing worse as a coach than as a GM.

he built this guy up as "the centerpiece"...to the point where eddy said he would leave if isiah is fired...and the whole "bruised never broken" saga about the all star game...

then, all of the sudden, he acquires zach and pulls the rug from under him.

so from curry's point of view, he must be like "wtf?"

Isn't LB supposed to be the world's best basketball coach? Maybe if Isiah wins 23, it means he's just as good a coach as LB.
You're right, we can't have it both ways.

No it won't. Remember, LB sabotaged the season. If Isiah gets the same wins trying his best - he is far worse. If Isiah gets the same wins by sabotaging the team - then maybe he's as good as LB, but it would mean he sabotaged our great team. Sabotaged it...

The question Panos posed and the answer he implied was that either Thomas is sabotaging the team or LB did not sabotage the team because we can't have it both ways.

Now your answer is trying to have it both ways.

LB has presided over some pretty awful teams. 22 wins in San Antonio, then the next year he was rescued by David Robinson. You remember that don't you?

LB's name was cleared the day he got fired. Still a huge mistake to me. Brown would have had this team turned already. He was in the process of throwing out the garbage and found out he' was Isiah's garbage to throw out.
I'll never trust this' team again.
