My take.
First of all, the fact that we lost to this Sonic team speaks volumes.
There was not one quality player on the floor aside from their rookies.
The team blows. Yet you just knew it was going to happen.
I walked out of the building screaming: "We just lost to the SONICS!!!"
"O" "J" "Mayo" CLAP-CLAP CLAP-CLAP-CLAP!

As for our team, these guys are completely shell shocked. The crowd is
wound up so tight, they're just waiting for something to boo about. They
booed within the first 2 minutes of the game. Which by the way, included some
really bad play. A couple of airballs, and a botched layup or two by our
worst player JJ2. How that guy is even a professional bball player is beyond me.
Now, I have to say, I liked a couple of things I saw from Zach last night.
If I can keep one of Zach or Eddy and ditch the other, I keep Zach. He's
got a much larger offensive repetoire, and hit DLee with a couple of nice passes
for buckets. His handle is outstanding for a big man. Let's get a defensive center
to play next to him. There's no way we're getting rid of both him and Eddy,
so let's pick our poison. I vote Zach.

Nate is still playing with fire. He's a dumb little bugger, but you can never
blame him for mailing it in.

Q has to stop doing the little celebration after 3's. Dude, just say a little
prayer thanking god, and hope you can hit the next one too. You're in no position
to celebrate.

Did I mention JJ2 sucks?

Jones, no impression. I didn't get a great feel for him. Didn't really even notice
him on the court. That said, he didn't do too many awful things.

Isiah is not coaching at all. I've noticed this every game I've seen this year.
There is no organized offensive plan. We have 10x more talent than the Sonics,
yet we couldn't execute. That's on Isiah. At least he's right about one thing.

I don't really agree with everyone necessarilly who say we need to start from absolute
scratch. But one thing is very clear if you watch the game from MSG. Isiah is done.
The crowd is ready for blood. While I think this team DESERVES every boo it gets,
and I did my share, Isiah is right that it is making them play even worse. Too bad?
Maybe. But it ain't going to change till we see a coaching change. We're past the
point of no return. Its just a matter of time.

Side note: for all of you trade proposal whores, forget about Chris Wilcox. He's
terrible.

I agree with you on him. He ticks me off more than anyone on our team, but dam-n I'm really growing to like him. His effort on the court next to the rest of the lazy arses is so noticeable that it's embarrassing. He doesn't play the smartest basketball in the world but in the right role I have no problem with this guy on my team.
I just hope that people will like me

Sushi at the garden? Might as well have taken your chances with Ecoli Bell, when that was out and about.

btw, i would prefer to get rid of Zach's contract... Curry may still be tradeable later if we get Zach outta here & have Curry playing the way he did last season... his contract is much more tradeable at his age & the level of annual dollars he's slated to make.

there's no doubt that Zach is a much more polished player than Eddy & brings more to the table, so if u were forced to hold onto 1 of them throughout their contracts i guess i'd agree w/u then.

Beasley might sound way better than OJ and Rose, But knowing the Knicks OJ is on the way because the Knicks and OJ will ever be part of History and this one went to USC too.

I think we need leadership and defense. Not sure if Beasley brings that to the table.

He rebounds is 6'9'' has a handle hit outside shots and blocks enogh shots to be the leader on the knicks right now. Just think of him as another Durant.

aren't there any defensive stud shotblocking C's out there in the draft that we can get w/a later pick if we can somehow get a trade done to get one?

To be the leader in stats maybe. Marbury was a also a leader in stats.

I'm just looking for someone who can bring some sanity to this team. Honestly I haven't seen Beasley play nor do I know his relationship with his teammates. But NBADraft.net gives Beasley low scores for leadership and says a weakness is maturity. I do not think this is what we need.

On the other hand, Derrick Rose looks like an absolutely perfect fit. Isiah often brings in either a defense-only player or a offense-only player. Rose seems to be both.

Plus we desperately need a point guard right now. We don't have a PG who can honestly bring us a championship. Rose seems to be the guy, especially since he gets high scores for leadership.

What do you think?

Hibbert from Georgetown might be your best bet for shot blocking. The Kid Jordan might be good but I don't see it in his stats should stay antoher year or two before coming out.
